I believe this hotel has a great track record with providing good service to their guests. They have recently updated and so rooms are modern-looking. They have new staff members from the last time I was there who are also respectful and warm. Housekeepers do a great job with the rooms and I would recommend anyone that is traveling to stop by and spend a night or two. I like the glass doors in the bathroom and the lighting of the room is perfect. The rooms include a smart tv, microwave, minifridge and kitchenette. I give them 5 stars because I was comfortable and happy with the condition of my room. Thanks to those amazing housekeepers, Jasmin & Marvin etc. This hotel is doing a great job at providing quality accommodation.

Positive: Not sure if it was a newly built or recently renovated location, but the hotel is very up to date and very nice accommodations. The bed was very comfortable and high quality linens. Entire room was very clean and updated including the bathroom. Negative: I couldn't make the TV work to save my life... The remote control is very confusing!

I stayed here because I was going to my first Iron Bowl and while I was proactive in securing tickets to that, I forgot about the hotel until about a month before.
I was concerned I wouldn't be able to find a decent hotel but this place is great. The front desk was fantastic, it was a quick and easy check in and everything looked clean and comfortable.
Our room was spacious with two queens and one of the largest bathrooms I've been in at a hotel. Once again, everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable.
It was easy to find with access right off the interstate but far enough away that we didn't hear any traffic noise. Also, it was about a six minute drive to the stadium with minimal traffic.
I didn't eat breakfast but my nephew said it was really good and they had a large assortment to choose from. Honestly, this will be my go to hotel when I come for games.

My 92 year old aunt stays here every year when she and her grandson and wife come to town for a visit. She has always stayed here , loved the cleanliness, service , location etc. BUT they have remodeled and all the rooms with double beds are now located on the second floor and the kicker is they have NO ELEVATOR! so my 92 year old Aunt had to walk the stairs to get to her room. I have never ever seen a hotel that was more than one story not have an elevator. Next time they are in town she will seek a different place to stay.

Nicest Rodeway Inn I have ever stayed in. The staff were very helpful. The room was laid out very well. The beds were in separate areas of the room. The walk-in shower was great. The room has plank floors, so no carpet to clean. Mirror had an anti-fog and lighting buttons on it. Overall a very nice place to stay. Easy to see why it's an award-winning hotel.

This hotel overall did the job for a short term stay.
The location was close to the university which was good for this stay. Would I stay again? No. We had a couple issues during our stay including WiFi not being available to our room, our tv not working, the room phone not working, and lastly running out of water mid shower. When bringing up these issues with the manager, he was nothing but combative simply not believing what we were telling him. We then presented the issues in the room, after seeing these issues he walked out in silence not resolving a thing. Not to mention they were reluctant to apply a military discount to the rooms I had purchased stating they had already charged my card prior to my arrival. After arguing, they applied the discount with minimal effort.
If you are looking for a bed to sleep in they have it, if you are looking for a good stay this is not it.

Our daughter was graduating from the U of A in Tuscaloosa, AL and we needed a hotel room for 2 nights. I was looking at what affordable hotels were available and noticed that the Roadway Inn Tuscaloosa had excellent reviews so I chose that one. We were very impressed with our room it had vinyl plank flooring, completely updated bathroom, nice condition furniture, nice microwave and fridge. Everything was nice and clean and management was friendly. When we go to Tuscaloosa to visit we will definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms and good breakfast. Stopped for a break on a roadtrip with four kids. Entire hotel was clean. Plenty of parking if you have a box truck or dragging a trailer.
