So quiet and relaxing. The hot tub is just the right temp. Balcony looking over the creek is nice as well. Sat and had my morning coffee with the sound of running water and chirping birds.

Lady that's works night shift is the rudest, most miserable person I've dealt with in a long time. She was very unfriendly and left me standing in the freezing cold for 10 minutes in the middle of the night. If I wasn't desperate for sleep after traveling from Jacksonville Florida I definitely would have left. Totally unnecessary, she needs a new line of work, dealing with customers is not it. Rooms were decent though. And they argue with customers on Google reviews. Don't book at night

The room had a riverside view, was nice enough, although we thought the bed was too hard, did sleep well enough as it was quiet. No pool, but there was a hot tub. Breakfast was a basic continental (no meat or eggs), but there was enough to fill up with anyway. The restaurant adjacent (The Oxbow) had good food and we satisfied our breakfast craving by having it for lunch. Within walking distance of the Gannet Grill & Cowfish restaurant and microbrewery, so having drinks with dinner and not having to drive is a plus. Would stay there again if we were going to be in Lander.

Positive: Nice rooms and very clean. The staff is friendly, too. Negative: I have a big pickup, so parking is a challenge, but there really isn?t any other way they could lay it out to improve that.

Had a room rented for a friend, in her name, that included a $200 security deposit. From the moment I walked in, it seemed she did not want my friend there. She tried to discourage me with the $200 deposit, even though when I booked online with my card, hotels.com made no mention of that, even when clicking pay now instead at the motel. Before she ran my card for the security deposit, she asked if I was staying in the room, too, and then refused to honor the reservation when I said I was paying for the friend. We were left with no motel reservation, in the middle of a snow storm. The motel should update their policies, if these are indeed actual policies. Will NEVER book here again. Thankfully another hotel, and 5 star one, took care of us, and for much less money!!

We have stayed here for a few days every September with our dogs. When we first came I expected pretty little just being in a smaller town. My friend and I were both shocked at how nice it was and how clean and well stocked. I love staying here and love that we are able to bring our dogs for a big event each year. It’s better than a lot of big name brand hotels I’ve come across.

Extremely clean queen suite (motel style outside hallway entry). Nice continental breakfast including bagels with cream cheese, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, tea & hot chocolate. We enjoyed our stay. There is a raised deck area over a river in the back that is peaceful to sit at. I saw people on their phones and laptops enjoying the table in the shade. I also enjoyed the garden area back there. We stopped here for the night driving from Colorado to Yellowstone NP, checked in at 10:30 PM. The older woman at the counter was not very friendly. She didn't seem happy to see us. The younger woman at the counter in the morning was friendly, courteous and respectful. She restocked breakfast items too.

If you're looking for the best price you can get then you better specifically ask for their cheapest room.

When I called to see about room availability, the woman on the phone was so nice I didn't think twice about the fact that she might be bamboozling me. She said they had a room available, however it was $50 more than the price was showing online. Since there are not many hotels in Lander, I said okay. Upon walking into the room, I realized she booked me a suite room. There were not many others at the hotel, so I'm sure this was not the only room available.

I've never had a hotel host only present their most expensive room vs letting me know all the room options available and their prices. I felt totally taken advantage of.

The only reason this is not a one star review is because the room did appear to be quite clean despite the musty smell.

I go backpacking in this area almost every year, and I'll never book here again if I can help it.
