Nice campground close to Twin Lakes, with a good amount of tree coverage, our site #13 did not have trees. That is how we got a campsite, as the campground was full. Bathrooms were clean, there was even a solar-powered motion light for nighttime usage. We camped on July 14th, the weather was hot and the lake was wonderful to kayak in.

We stayed 2 nights here. It is a popular CG. There are some camp sights along the creek. Most all sights have some tree coverage. The CG roads have HUGE expansion cracks which serve as speed bumps and earthquake simulators for the trailers. Cost is $28.00 night. Will close for season 10/8/2023. In September many trailers with generators. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am. CG had two hosts and is generally clean. Potable water, newer vault restrooms, no showers or dump stations. Bear lockers for food storage. Good base camp for many outings.

It was a really great campground but it was truly a bummer we couldn't have a campfire, despite the thunderstorms, and a deeper bummer that they didn't include that information in the email confirmation so we couldn't prepare our food choices for fireless things. The phone number they listed with updates didn't say anything about fire restrictions. Communications would've been helpful before such a long drive.
We still had an amazing time and totally recommend the trip. Twin lakes is astoundingly beautiful on the paddle boards.

Wonderful campground right on the river. Lots of shade trees well run by the on-site host was on top of everything it seemed to me. And talking with folks camping there it turns out many many of them have been coming for years and decades to Robinson Creek. Had a great three nights visit.

We camped there in June 2021, the campground was full. Not a place to camp if you want peace and quiet with generators running and Lots of families camping together at the same campsite. Our site didn’t have much shade but was on the river. The weather was hot, so laying in the river was a good way to cool down. Lot of hiking trails along the river and in the area.

Pretty campground but the host lets people run their generators until 10. And doesn’t care about the loud ones. There was also quite a bit of trash laying around of people that didn’t put their stuff in bear lockers.

While there are many many positives about this place, my interaction with the camp host forces me to give this place only one star. It had good fishing while we were there, and it was very cool that the local deer walk right through the campground. While I was there, the bathrooms were cleaned throughout the day, but not at a frequency that was needed for the number of campers. Unless it was very early in the day, the bathrooms were in need of a cleaning. Each time I visited the bathroom, what needed to be cleaned was different. Therefore, someone was cleaning the bathrooms, but they were not being cleaned at a rate that they needed to be cleaned.

Again, what made our time at this campground so bad was my interaction with Tim, the camp host. There was going to be four of us: my wife, my father-in-law, my mother-in-law, and me. My in-laws had to back out because on the day we were going to start camping because my mother-in-law just received the news that she had Hodgkin's lymphoma, and would need her positron emission tomography (PET) scan two days later.

This caused an issue because the reservations were made using my mother-in-law’s senior pass that gave us a discounted cost for the campsite, and my in-laws were not there. Even though we said that we would pay the difference, Tim accused my wife being a liar with his tone of voice and his facial expression (rolling of his eyes) and stating that everyone comes in and states that their love one has cancer.

After showing Tim the text messages that we had proving that my mother-in-law did have Hodgkin's lymphoma, and that she was getting her PET scan, Tim asked us, if we cared for her, why were we camping and not being with her. (Note: we already had scheduled when we would be visiting them to give them a hand). With Tim implying that my wife was not a good daughter, let us say that I gave Tim my two cents of what I thought of him. Tim then try to incited me to hit him with something like “Are you going to assault me? Come on and assault me, you will see what will happen to you because I am a {cannot remember the title that he used for himself, but it did represented his position there at the park}.” After telling him twice that I was not going to assault him, he said something like, “Come on and assault me.” I told him that I was not going to assault him, and that this conversation is overwith.”

I went back to Tim with the money that we rightly own, and stated that I was sorry for acting as I did, and I should not have done that. I also stated that I wanted his supervisor’s name and contact information. He then accused me of not wanting to pay him even though I had the money in my hand in front of him. I then stated “No, I was there to pay what we owe, and I wanted the name of his supervisor and contact information.” Not only did he refused to give me his contact information, he stated that I was committing fraud, and that he would be sending out the sheriff to give us a talk.

I told him to please send out the sheriff because I would love to talk to him.

The sheriff never did come out, but his supervisor did. After hearing our side of the story and what we went through, she stated that Tim would be coming back around to apologize to us for what he said; he never did.
