Camping rate was great. Bathrooms were large warm and clean. They did have pushbutton type water in shower. Our site was level grassy and tree. I could hear the highway all night. Staff was friendly.

If I could rate negative in stars for their cabins I would. Beyond disgusting. I get it ..it’s camping but it is not in the middle of a forest where supplies are limited…we had multiple beds in our cabin..all were made nicely until you pull back the covers and see food crumbs (a lot of crumbs like a kid dumped a bag of chips crumbs) and body hair all over. They gave us a used kitchen sponge to clean with that had some nasty stuff embedded..all our coffee mugs looked like they were just drank out off because they had crusty coffee..the coffee maker had coffee grounds caked in. Inch of dust on the tv component on the shelf..oh and how about the dog ball with slime and sticks sitting on the bed. They did not vacuum at all..when we asked for clean sheets and a vacuum they said oh so sorry and changed the sheets but still never vacuumed or cleaned the tv area. Honestly I cleaned and bagged everything when we got home I was so disgusted. These photos don’t do it justice on just how gross these cabins are. And it’s not just a one off. We had friends who said they found old candy wrappers and food in their bed..and were also given used kitchen sponge. The camper area is good but the cabins made it miserable to stay.

Absolutely horrible experience! The place charged for everything, not allowed to bring your own firewood in so you pay $5 for this pitiful bunch of wood that burns for maybe an hour. Two adults and two children come with rental, but each additional person there is an extra charge even if you only have one camper on the site. Then if your guests come in before 2pm check in you get charged additionally what they call a "Day Pass". even though you already paid for them to be part of your group. I called a week ahead of time and told them there would be 4 adults and 4 children and was told that would be fine, and then after we were there and checked in DAVE told me very rudely that we were breaking rules for having too many people on one site - I was supper confused about that, as when reservation was made I was told that would be fine. Then I rented a golf cart for one day and specifically told them I only wanted golf cart for Saturday and reservationist told me that was fine. Then they charged me for a golf cart for Friday and Saturday. And they said their prices had changed from $3/person to $6/person after reservation was made. I requested an itemized receipt and they treated me as if I was a criminal. Then when I showed them they had charged me for two golf cart rentals and charged me for 13 persons instead of 8. Dave was making all kinds of snide comments and sounds as I tried to deal with the lady at the front counter, so I told him he was cheating me as a customer and I had every right to demand a refund and that I intended to turn him into the better business bureau. He then called me a "FU.......ING B........tcH" I was completely stunned, because I was asking them to correct my over charges and he had the audacity to call me a nasty, inappropriate name. I have never been treated so rudely and crass. I was the customer and I had to beg to get a refund and was humiliated in the process. Took over 20-30 minutes to resolve issue and DAVE never uttered one apology for his rude behavior. Would HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE to go some place else as DAVE will ruin your lovely family camping experience.

Great location, right next to the largest man made dam and lake. Shop is organized and well taken care of. We missed the opportunity to swim in the pool, but it looked very well maintained and clean. Great for walking around if you want to walk a dog or just go for a walk. Clean and taken care of as a whole. Cabins look super nice and fun, we stayed in a camper so that's unknown territory.

It wasn't the cleanest cottage, noticeable dirt under the bed, we washed what dishes we were going to use before using them because coffee pot wasn't clean, grease on the stove, greasy smears on table. A/C didn't cool the small room at all (we had it set at 66°), they advertise free wifi and there was none not even outside (as I was told to try). Nice place to use your own camper just not a fan of the cottage.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. Our cabin was very cute and clean. The campground is family friendly with a playground and a new pool coming soon. I was pleased with how quite and peaceful it was, especially at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unlike our trip to Lake Geneva, WI earlier this year, we felt very safe enjoying some time away from home despite the current Pandemic. I highly recommend Robin Hood Woods for your next get away.

The owners/staff are amazing and the rest rooms/shower house are super clean! The campground is quiet and family friendly. My only disappointment is the area where tent campers are assigned is cozy, and not in a good way. Our tents ended up being about 2 feet apart from those in neighboring campsites and the group next to us wasn't a good fit with our group. The spots are designed for smaller campers, not tents, so the layout is a bit awkward. My family all agreed we would go back but get back to back spaces instead of spaces in a row which would work out much nicer.

Nice campground with pool. We only stayed for one night. Most sites looked like pull-through with full hook ups. Ours was no exception. Neighbors were friendly. A lot of people there have permanent sites and just leave their campers there year round. Campground is open April through October. Definitely good for social camping as their are a lot of people you can talk to. Wish I took pictures.
