The Riviera Theatre is a fantastic venue! We saw Smells Like Nirvana, a tribute band, and the experience was incredible. The intimate setting made for a great atmosphere, and the sound was excellent. The staff was friendly, and we had an amazing time!

Took my girlfriend here for a concert last night. There was a small mix-up with the 3rd party e-mailed ticket info and the staff were super helpful. Whoever hired them deserves some credit, because everyone -- from the box office lady to Chris to the security man at the stage and the elder blonde Lady usher were awesome people! The theater itself is nostalgic and in many ways beautiful. The owners have done a good job taking care of it and creating a warm atmosphere. I recommend seeing shows here, so long as you don't need to mosh or slam dance too much.

Wow! A fully restored movie theater built in the 1920’s for silent films. A spectacular Wurlitzer organ built to serve as the Wurlitzer demonstration organ. Accordingly it has all the bells and whistles which were optional additions at the time it was built. The venue and organ are in fantastic shape, cared for by a team of enthusiastic volunteers. Now the cinema has regular music events including Wurlitzer concerts and silent films with organ accompaniment. Tribute bands are also a frequent part of the calendar there.

Great way to see a concert. I liked the ambiance of the old show house stage. Liked that you could grab a glass of wine. Very perplexed why nobody dances. I felt like a wierdo dancing at a Cure cover band concert,

What a Great time to have with friends, while having a night out on the town.
Each Band we have seen, has been so close to their original. Most have great Stage presence and command the crowd. Any seat in the house is a good one. My video was taken from the last row! If you get there early, the Wurlitzer Guy is playing, so good!!!

One of the best venues in WNY hands down.. the renovations are amazing and much needed.. the sound is impeccable and if you enjoy intimate shows this is the place to go.. and it's the home of the Wurlitzer... IYKYK

Amazing small venue to see shows at. We traveled in from Canada for the Ace Frehley show last night and Canadians can learn how to put on shows from our American friends. From the free parking all around the venue (I had to ask numerous people that it really was free....unheard of in Toronto) to the historic building itself, it was a great experience. Many Wurlitzer organs inside the historic theater (I had no idea that they were made in town....learned something new). The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful! Small bathrooms but I was told that these will soon be renovated and it will definitely make things easier for those drinking beer during the show....the only drawback were the bathroom lineups but thankfully I was DD last night.
My wife and I loved it and we're already looking at future shows to attend.
Easier and quicker for us to get here than to downtown Toronto from Guelph!

This is the best small venue for live music in our area! First it’s really pretty, they have done a fantastic job on the remodel,the cover bands are really good, we rarely get to one that we don’t enjoy. I do hope the bathrooms are next up for a make over, as the ladies upstairs is ridiculous, can’t even get to the one tiny sink due to location, it’s just a bad set up.

Anyway, we go all the time, we try to get loge seats as we like it best in the balcony, but there’s not a bad seat in the house, we have donated to the projects and theater, and hope we can continue to enjoy live music here for years to come!
