The dinner and space were very inviting and delicious. The desert was lacklustre and the open bar was limited with a guy pouring drinks, not a bartender. The wait staff was pleasant and very helpful. Overall out was a nice place and enjoyed the party we went to.

Love this golf course, short parkland course with lots of doglegs and small, sloped green. The range could be a little bigger and the putting green could be as well but they are in the process of expanding the putting green. The chipping area is great though. Other amenities there are great. The pool is large and they have the best swim team in the area. Restaurant and bar is great, everything you order is excellent.

An absolutely beautiful country club. I have yet to play a round here although I am excited to do it one of these days. I have come to the club house for meals and drinks a few times. The members and staff are always so lovely. The food is very well done. I love the atmosphere where everyone known one another and are very friendly. If I lived in the area I would strongly consider joining. Worth a round and worth your time.

Fantastic country club. Beautiful golf course that is remarkably challenging with small greens and lush, narrow fairways. All bunkers on the course were recently redone and have the brilliant white sand. Dining and banquet facilities are top notch and service is highly personalized, My daughter has booked her wedding at this club this coming August and is having a great experience preparing for it with club staff,

My now husband and I were married on July 9th, 2022 at River Forest Country Club (RFCC) and we could not be more pleased with how everything turned out.

First, let me start with Marsela who is an exceptional coordinator. She takes her job very seriously and the attention to detail in our wedding was all thanks to her. Working with her during the months leading up to the wedding were fun, easy, and stress-free. Marsela made our day run smoothly and beautifully, I cannot thank her enough for this. Any question I had Marsela could answer it quickly to help me make decisions for the wedding. If you are able to work with Marsela I promise you will not be disappointed.

Now, onto the grounds, facilities, food, and service. RFCC is a beautiful place. You are right off of busy Grand Ave but tucked into a beautiful green area, it feels like a storybook. Everything in the presentation of the wedding was fantastic from the outdoor cocktail hour on the lawn to the wonderful dinner and flowing drinks during dancing. The facilities are so clean and pristine, you and your guests will feel like you are at a five-star venue not another run of the mill banquet hall. The food was phenomenal and we heard from so many guests that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. This all thanks to the amazing chef that they have on site...remember this is not just a wedding venue but a fantastic Country Club that serves members daily, RFCC's standards are top-notch. All of the servers, bartenders, and staff at RFCC were fantastic and made our wedding reception run perfectly. I cannot thank each of them enough.

In short, if you are looking to have an AMAZING wedding and work with EXCEPTIONAL staff (including the phenomenal Marsela) please look no further than River Forest Country Club. I cannot recommend them enough and promise you will be just as pleased with your experience.
