My husband and I got married here in October 2023 and it was an dream wedding thanks to the Wedgewood Rio Hondo team. Everyone was super friendly and very helpful every step of the way. They have great deals and have connections to vendors which made planning our wedding SO much easier. And they give you a binder which explains the process and helps you keep track of things.This is definitely a location I would recommend checking out. Beautiful outdoor ceremony site & large reception hall. And they have both bridal & groom suites! My husband and I saw a few venues before this one and only 1 location had a "bridal suite" which was more akin to a large storage closet converted into a bridal suite. Trust me, if for the suites alone, check this place out.

We used Rio Hondo Wedgewood Weddings for our wedding in July 2023. When we first toured the venue, we knew it would be one of our top choices due to the convenient location proximity-wise for our families, the beauty of the outdoor ceremony site, which was conveniently connected to the reception ballroom, and the all inclusive packages available. Wedgewood bundles a lot into their wedding packages, which makes the planning process a lot more doable without an outside wedding planner. If you want an open bar for the wedding, they have great options at a good value. We ended up going with their elite package, which included services from their contracted florist, DJ/MC, Officiant, Bar, photo booth, baker and catering services. In general, going with their vendors made the process easier and more affordable for us.

They do around 3 meetings with you before the wedding to make sure the basic planning is in line. The coordinator assigned to you the day of is random, but David was amazing! Definitely a true professional who is diligent in reviewing notes sent over to him beforehand. He did a great job keeping calm in the moment, calming us as well, and did everything in his power to make sure the day ran smoothly. We appreciated his energy and how he would go out of his way to take videos and pictures of the day for us. We had the buffet option, and our guests had pretty great things to say about the food. The carving station with the prime rib was my personal favorite. We had the venue for 6 hours, from 6pm - 12 am. The wedding went great and was a fantastic experience for us.

I can't tell EXPRESS enough how amazing Wedgewood @ Rio Hondo is. When we first got engaged, we looked at several venues, and it was just incredibly unaffordable. I mean the open bar itself, would have been 8 grand at some places. It was out of control!!! My friend referred Rio Hondo, and said it was such a deal because there's so much included. THE PLANNING process is SO EASY. They lay it all out in a binder for you, and in the planning meetings they just ask you what you want, they write it down, and if you don't know, you figure it out later!! DJ, officiant, and event coordinators, open bar, tables, linen, CAKE, FLORAL ARRANGMENTS, all come with the wedding. AND Depending on what package you choose you get more. IF YOU do not want something, you can sub it out for something else. We had a Halloween wedding and it was amazing. Our coordinators were Tamica and David, and they were soo so so amazing. MY husband and I both did not feel good at our wedding, at it was not ideal, but they helped us so much. They gave us warm water and tums, etc.. WE managed to have a great time despite our health that day. The customer service is so amazing here, and I will remember Tamica and David for LIFE!! You will not regret having your wedding here!

The venue is beautiful and clean. We loved the pond area where we were able to take the bride and groom portraits.

As a wedding photographer and videographer, I recently had the pleasure of shooting at Rio Hondo Wedding venue and I must say, it was an absolute gem. The natural beauty of Rio Hondo Canyon with lush greenery, flowing river and towering mountains, makes it an idyllic backdrop for wedding photos and videos. The venue itself is charming, with a rustic charm that is perfect for intimate weddings. The staff was professional and accommodating, making sure everything went smoothly. Too crowded and dangerous and expensive compared with any other golf course. You must take a risk your own to hit a ball from other hole’s players.
But good players who closed for local residents for golf lovers to take all those risks.

My friens hosted her wedding here. It was a beautiful, small sized venue. The outside garden area was well kept, and over looked the golf course. Inside at the dining area was a nice sized dance floor with beautiful lighting and comfortable seats. Parking was easy, and the staff was cordial. The food taste better than I expected. And, It is located in a safe quiet community.
