My wife and I placed an order for pickup on 1/31/24. This is our first time at this restaurant. Upon arrival; the cashier had trouble taking/placing the order. Due to a language barrier between my wife and the cashier.
We don't speak Spanish and the cashier don't speak English. Who cares right. As long as the food is good.
Well, the food was HORRIBLE. The Al Pastor meat tacos were over cooked. I'm serious, the meat was crunchy. The chicken fajitas; the vegetables and chicken were over cooked. The sauce was tasteless and bland. Just horrible, (see picture). I would have bought the food back for refund. The weather was so bad. It wasnt worth the effort or stress.
I'm confused on so many positive reviews. Was this a bad night for the cook? Was it on purpose?

Went here with my partner for the first time, and we'll definitely be coming back! Staff was super friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. Would recommend for anyone looking to eat some yummy food!

This small, local business has great authentic Mexican food. The newest additions to their menu are seafood options. And though the prices are higher for those platters, the serving portions are huge and the quality is great, making the price very understandable. The stuffed pineapple was amazing! A bit on the spicier side, if that's something you're worried about. Overall this is a great spot to go to for some great Mexican food, and you're also supporting a small business. Wins all around.

I ordered mixed Fajitas with fries and they were fire!
Tell them you want the Rob special it’s with fries just kidding. But this place is a solid 9 1/2 out of 10 on the fajitas.

I brought my wife in over 31/2 hours ago because her doctor sent us here. It being a mental health hub and she has been dealing with headaches due to 2 falls in 2 weeks. No one will give us any updates or anything. Even the paramedics are “parking” patients in the waiting room. I believe we would have been seen faster at Cook County Hospital.

You should not come here. Find another Hospital!

The food was so good it made me rethink my decision to buy Taco Bell. The food took 8 minutes after i sat down to get to me. The entire atmosphere was just a vibe. This is why we love family runned businesses. They always do it to perfection.

I'm just mad I didn't discover this place sooner. One of the best taco places in the heights. The pastor was on point and the asada was well seasoned, tender and not fatty or full of gristle. Today I tried the quesobirria. Meat was tender and the consumé was rich. Next is civeche. Give it a try.
