What a find in Casey, IL. We were just passing through on 70 and saw this on Google Maps. We like the idea of a salad bar, so we stopped. During the day they have a huge salad bar plus soups, homemade bread and a hot bar. When we were there they had fried chicken, pulled pork BBQ, green beans, Mac&cheese and wonderful homemade mashed potatoes. All the salads and foods tasted homemade. The price was very reasonable for all that was available. Plus they had a menu that sounded great, but we just couldn't pass up the bar. It's in a beautiful old barn with antiques everywhere, not fancy, but homey. We loved it!

This restaurant's greatest selling point is its atmosphere, which starts all the way in the parking lot with their world's largest pitch fork. The interior is cozy and immersive, and as you are being taken to your seat, there is a bit of an antique-scape that unfolds before your eyes.

I enjoyed the food, but I felt it was slightly overpriced and that their buffet selection was rather small. Their service was fine. Again, their atmosphere is their strongest asset.

If you are in the mood for food that tastes like a home cooked meal, this is a great place to stop.

I love this place! My husband and I were looking for a place to have a sit-down meal while traveling back home to NY. We saw the sign on the highway, so we went. Everything about it is wonderful. I would absolutely go again if we are ever in that area!

What an amazing place to get fantastic high quality American food in America! It doesn’t get better than this. The atmosphere is unique and worth the stop off the highway alone. The prices are fair so bring the whole family.

We stopped in on Friday night for dinner. This place was recommended by many locals, and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our food was great, from soups to salads to appetizers to our main course. Very nice selection in a fun atmosphere. Keep up the great work!

We walked in to think that there might be a wedding time and told the hostess that there would be only two of us. She looked at her Table menu and saw that there was plenty of seating for two people or less and told us that she could see this immediately. She took us to our table and told us with the house specials were for the day and said a waitress will be right with us. Our waitress, Kaitlyn, and proceeded to ask us what we would like to drink. She also told us what the house specials were for today and proceeded to give us menus . And told us what appetizers they had for special of the day. And it happened to be a large jumbo shrimp. So we put our order in for prime rib steak that are steak cooked as ordered. She was there hand and foot make sure we had plenty of drink and see if we need anything else. I would definitely recommend this waitress by name. Of course it's the first time we went I'm sure there are plenty of other waiters and waitresses with the Saint promptness. A really laid-back place that Diane and Gary Richardson built. I would say if you ever have a chance to stop in and have dinner at this restaurant I would. I will be doing it again for sure

I ate here with a big group and was very impressed with this place. We had a nice big room all to ourselves that was peaceful and quiet. The service was really good and the food was awesome. I will definitely come back if I have the chance.

Oh. So. GOOD!!
We loved the decor,
The staff were friendly,
The meals were excellent and arrived quickly!
The pulled pork was delightful and the salad bar was fresh and clean and topped up frequently.
In addition to salad bar, you also have choices of fresh bread and soups!
We had a wonderful meal, AND it's located right next to "the giant pitchfork"!
