Great Residence Inn. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The place is very clean. The rooms are spacious and the kitchens are stocked with every item you could need. The breakfast is fantastic and coffee is always available. It’s a great place to stay. Plus, they love my dog. Warning: this place will spoil you. I’ve been to two other Residence Inns in the area and I was extremely disappointed in comparison to this special one. Highly recommend this particular hotel A+++

I usually really like Residence Inn and the location for this one is great. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. But my suite has been problematic. When I checked in, the bathroom was not clean-- there was hair on the shower wall. The shampoo/conditioner/bath gel containers were empty and it took an entire day for me to get these filled so that I could use them. My second night there was a loud party somewhere near me, which made it impossible to sleep. And then today I returned to the room to find the ceiling in the bathroom/bedroom area leaking some sort of fluid all over the floor. At this point I'm considering checking out early and finding another hotel.

It was ok. The sofa bed, pretty uncomfortable and the size of the room was a bit small. Room was clean, staff was very nice. Great breakfast. But it was so hard to get a good night of sleep because the air conditioner was so so noisy, honestly a shame.

We had an awesome experience with a very friendly helpful front desk staff member on 9/27/25 at 9am she went above and beyond to get us an extended day, also helped print up some important paperwork, also gave great suggestions. She is very helpful! We appreciate our stay and your team is a great part of our contentment.

I stayed at the Residence Inn Santa Clarita Valencia for four nights while visiting family and making a couple of trips to Six Flags. I didn’t expect much beyond the basics, but honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and convenient everything was.

The check-in process was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were genuinely friendly—not just polite. I had asked for early check-in and although the room wasn’t quite ready when I arrived, they offered me coffee and a place to relax while they finished up, which was a nice touch.

The room itself was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed for a longer stay. I had a king suite with a small kitchen—full fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, even a dishwasher. It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the fact that there was a real desk and good Wi-Fi since I had to get some work done. The couch bed isn’t amazing, but it worked fine for a short visit from a friend. Nothing fancy, but everything worked well and felt cared for.

One of the highlights was the breakfast. I expected the usual boring hotel spread, but this one had a good variety—hot eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt. Some days they even had breakfast burritos or biscuits and gravy. The staff kept the area clean and restocked, even when it was busy. I didn’t eat out much for breakfast, which saved me time and money.

They also had a small outdoor pool and hot tub, which I used twice in the evenings. It’s not a huge resort-style setup, but it was clean and quiet—perfect after a long day walking around Six Flags. The gym is small, but decent enough for a basic workout. I used the treadmill a couple of times and it got the job done.

There was also a little social hour on one of the nights I stayed—light snacks, wine, and beer. Nothing over-the-top, but a nice bonus and a good way to meet other travelers. That’s something I didn’t expect at a hotel like this.

The staff overall really impressed me. They were helpful, attentive, and seemed to actually care. One of them helped me find a nearby pharmacy late at night and even printed something out for me when I needed it, without charging. Housekeeping came by regularly, and everything was kept really clean throughout my stay.

Only a few small downsides: the water pressure in the shower could’ve been stronger, and if you’re on the freeway side of the building, there is a bit of road noise. Also, the parking lot gets full at night—if you come back late, you might need to park a little farther out. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.

Overall, it’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s exactly what you want from a Residence Inn—clean, practical, and comfortable with a little extra space and a lot of thoughtful touches. I’d absolutely stay here again, especially for longer visits. Way better than cramming into a standard hotel room for a few days.

We absolutely loved this property. The hotel was clean and centrally located. The staff were top notch— friendly, professional and courteous. We also appreciated the Kate check out that was granted.

Pros: Staff are the best! Loved the breakfast, and 24 hr water/coffee/tea in the lobby. Very clean. We are allergic to animals yet had no issues in the rooms even when we saw 3-4 dogs every day, and I suspect one was in the hall next to us since we heard it barking. Very close to Six Flags, fast food, walmart, Nike clearance center. Pool was very clean and great to use on a 38 degree day. lacking of shelter to lay on by the pool, as the umbrellas were attached to the tables so it took a bit of a moving around the loungers so you would be in the shade. free parking is nice.

Cons: water pressure was lacking, hot water would run out. if you get a room facing pico road, it would be loud with cars revving, luckily we were able to change rooms the second day. keys would always deactivate (we were told it was due to being close to our phones)

Overall: we would stay here again and recommend this for a stay if you're in the area

Update: I appreciate them reaching out and cancelling the fees.

They lost a more than 10-year customer over a charge that they refused to decline! Long story short, I asked to have a room with 2 beds instead of one. The receptionist did not inform me that there is a sofa bed available on the room she game me. Nevertheless, she offered me another room with two queen beds, which was fine. Coming from long international trip, my family briefly used the bathroom before we moved to the second room, and I told them that when she asked me whether I used the room or not. Despite that, they insisted to charge me $75, a charge initially labeled as “PET charge - pictured” which I found insulting. The receptionist overnight talked over me through the phone, and insisted to charge me that amount and refused to transfer me to the manager. I was able to talk to the manager next day morning And the only thing she offered is to reduce the amount. I don’t know how they moved someone to the room without checking it and charge me that amount for briefly using the toilet and tub for less than a few minutes!

Moreover, they charged me, by mistake they said, an $80 that showed up in my receipt and I had to ask them about it.

I will cancel my account with Marriott because of the disappointment I felt being a member with them for more the 10 years, and yet charge me for a miscommunication and conduct by their receptionist.

Rooms and breakfast were ok otherwise.
