Amazing course first time ever golfing and I can truly say I shall be back!! Course was well kept and the staff was very welcoming. We ended up with a awesome 4th that thought us some great tips that really helped improve our game!!

Pretty chill course, Like people wear Tshirts and Jean's to golf in. Clean and well staffed, they are always very helpful and friendly. The driving range has a preload key so makes it super easy and convenient to hit a bucket of balls real quick if you want. Front 9 nice and straight open holes, but look out for that back 9!

At the 10th hole my party of 3 was told by a man on a cart that we needed to hurry up. He stated that there were two holes in front of us that were not being played. At the 9th hole, we had ran into the club house to get a drink refill. When we had started our 9th hole, there was no wait. The only person in front of us since hole 1 was a solo player. He had been one hole in front of us the entire 18 holes. While finishing the last 9 holes, there was no one waiting behind us to tee off. The man on the cart made us hurry and become flustered for entirely no reason. This was my first time golfing at Renwood, my husband’s 5th. I have heard good reviews and wanted to try the course out. We will not be coming back after this incident. We were not playing slow, there was no one waiting behind us, and we finished the course in less than 4 hours with a party of three.

Driving range is great. Course is a little back n forth on first 9. I was losing my ball in the grass few times. Grass could be little shorter in my opinion

The course looks healthy and green. The putting green is smooth and has space to chip onto the putting green from the rough. The driving range always has space for anyone that would like to practice. I have shown up multiple time and started practicing right away with no delays. My type of welcoming golf course!

Best golf value in the Round Lake/Grayslake area. In 2023 it was only $28 to walk 18 on the weekend.

The course is in good shape and it is fairly easy to get on even though it gets a lot of play. The staff our friendly and you can get a good brat the turn. The practice facilities are also good (driving range and chipping/putting area).

The layout of the front and back nines are pretty different from each other. The front night is more wide open with a couple of exceptions where as the back nine requires a lot more stategery (misspelled intentionally) beginning with the tee shot on 10.

My favorite hole is the par 5 16th. My approach on this hole is to hit a 165 yard shot right of the bunker and then two 100 yard shots to the bridge and then the 4th shot over the creek and hopefully on to the elevated green. I also really enjoy the finishing 18th. Don't put your tee shot to the right or good luck finding your ball amongst the hundreds of range balls. However there is also danger off the tee to the left in the tall grass and the bunkers. If you manage these obstacles you still have to get your approach shot over the water to a slightly elevated green protected by bunkers.

I do enjoy this golf course!

For the Driving Range, it was close to the parking lot, low cost and targets are well marked. We were on mats today, but they were in excellent condition and did not mark irons when you swung. It's long enough to hit your driver, so it's a good warm up spot before your round or mid week to stay sharp. The large practice putting green is slow, but consistent & in really good shape. Well done, Renwood Driving Range!
