Great food and great atmosphere! This place never fails for a quick bite on the run, or spending a relaxing weekend with the family. Their shakes here are awesome with a variety of flavors! You can choose to eat inside with comfort or outside under their covered areas, which are great for groups or enjoying the summer weather. This place is walking distance from the new Lakeport Park, the marina or downtown shopping. Limited parking space with some street side parking.

I have been coming to Renee's Cafe since long before I started doing reviews. And I have always loved my experience. Hold on while I take my first bite...mmmm ok much better now. This is mine and my family's #1 go to here in Lakeport CA, we love it here. So this time I went with the original review/rate dish for restaurants that serve burgers. The mushroom swiss. I added BBQ sauce this time and it's off the chain!!!!!... Ok bite break!!!!... Mmmmmmm!!!!! And the Carmel butterscotch shake . 15 shake flavors. And a tall glass of cold milk. And a stack of napkins ... My food came fast and my waitress is a hottie with a great friendly personality . When in Lakeport come eat at Renee's Cafe... Hands down best in town!!!!

Classic American diner food. Crispy potatoes, fluffy biscuit, tasty gravy, and perfect over easy eggs on the country skillet. The breakfast burrito was great, very clean tasting(not greasy), ripe avocados and good salsa. Both dishes came out piping hot. Our servers were very nice and checked on us often, even though we chose to sit in the back outside area with our dog. We also got milkshakes to go, they were thick and delicious! We will be coming back more often.

Classic breakfast and diner food. The service was fantastic and the staff is really friendly. I got the French dip and macaroni salad. I don’t usually like Mac salad but this one was good.

We went to Renee's twice on our stay in Clearlake. The food and service were excellent on both occasions. I can recommend the grilled eggplant with pesto sandwich, the onion rings, the sweet potato fries, the minestrone soup, all the burgers, the BLT, and the carrot cake! We didn't have breakfast, but what I saw being delivered looked tasty. My only quibble is that one in our party was in a wheelchair, and they don't have any true wheelchair accessible tables. The interior is clean, old-fashioned diner.

Renee's was a hidden gem. Restaurant was very clean. We had breakfast. The food was great. The folks there were all very nice too. If you make it through Lakeport make sure to stop there. It's definitely worth the trip.

I have been a loyal customer of Renee’s for years, I loved the peanut butter hot fudge milkshakes all the time I have been eating at Renee’s. They used to have servers with ears that actually work, they didn’t have outrageous prices, and I they didn’t use chunky peanut butter in the milkshakes. Now when I ask for a peanut butter hot fudge milkshake, they give me chunky peanut butter and no hot fudge with I say peanut butter, hot fudge milkshake, only one server gets it right for the most part, under new management Renee’s is going to end up losing my business, not to mention the change in the fries and chicken nuggets, the nuggets are raw now when I get them, just switch back to Dinosaur Chicken Nuggets. I’m disappointed in Renee’s now.
