I stayed here for a night after a flight into O'Hare. Hotel offers a free shuttle, but I chose to take the blue line for ease. Hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the train station.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Large, attractive reception area, a nice bar, a Starbucks, and very friendly staff. It also has a gym with 4 treadmills, some elliptical machines (I think) and free weight. On top of this, there is a pool.

Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere close to the airport or just outside of the city.

This is an extremely convenient location. The bar and restaurant offer good food and drinks. All the staff is very helpful and nice. The hotel itself needs some love and the concierge lounge and the complimentary breakfast needs better food offerings. The bacon they use tastes like chemicals. This is really the only negative.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, albeit a few of the fixtures like the lamps were worn or broken. Sharon from the front desk was especially kind and gracious, and all of the staff we met in every department were friendly and outgoing. What the property may lack in updates is more than made up for in the great service from the staff.

Positive: distance to the airport - loved the bar, restaurant and food. I also thought the room was very comfortabe. Loved the division between the individual spaces. Hated the pillows. but overall it was great. Negative: I found the reception counter not that friendly. I had some questions when I checked in that the woman greeting me was obviously annoyed to answer - I was taking up her time was clealy the message she was giving off.

Sharon at the front desk made me feel very welcome at this property! The restaurant and bar staff are very nice too. The food is good, not excellent.
The room was excellent and bed very comfortable. The airport shuttle was very good.
Again, Sharon during check-in was the highlight.

Nothing like the Renaissance backing home in Dallas Texas. Rooms were average. The restaurant was not impressive. I ordered a Steak sandwich with arugula, horseradish and other ingredients... I got a NY stripe steak w/fries. I wish I could say the steak was good, but... It was edible.

The staff is very good and thorough. The shuttle is all day and night. Perfect timing for my weekend flights in and out of Chicago.
