So, everything is expensive these days. So it's definitely not a cheap burger. But I felt like I got what I paid for.... A very tasty tasty and filling burger. Upgraded to the truffle fries. I wasn't even able to finish the burger. I flew in there cause I've never been to that airport and it's always cool to fly somewhere new for lunch.. For pilots, transient parking is right off the taxiway at the restaurant and they have a small pilot lounge to the building next to this restaurant. They weren't open when I got there so I went there to hang out for 10 mins or so. Very dive bar type feeling but not in a bad way or anything. Small gripe, but No Dr pepper available. I'd for sure go back. Bartender/waitress was very friendly.

My wife and I haven't been, so it seemed like a good place to go for our anniversary. Has ok reviews, but what really caught my eye was the owner responses. Every low review, the owner acts like he's gonna fight someone. In my head, if he's this passionate about his restaurant, it has to be good or at least the test to find out right?

Oh man, this place is nothing but disappointing. I'll start with drinks, I suppose. Got an old-fashioned with soda ice. Small nitpick, but I've never paid $16 on a drink to get ice bin ice. This might not have bugged me if the 3 times we asked for water wasn't completely ignored. Pot stickers appetizer? Deep fried? Alright, these might be good. Wait, they're just store bought frozen. So already 0/3 if you count the water. Look over the menu several times and decide on the clam chowder. A can of Progresso was better than what I was served. I've never had a bowl filled with so many shells. A couple for decoration, sure. A bowl of bland, thin, potato soup with a lb of clams that seem like they were added after the fact. Getting broken shells is fun for everyone right? I'd say my wife's chicken seemed a lot better than my fare.

The atmosphere was fine, but literally, just felt like I was sitting in a wannabe upscale restaurant filled with farmers. This is a jab at the restaurant, not the farmer. worst part? Total ripoff on pricing across the board. Tries to pretend it's an upscale restaurant when in reality you go to sit down and the table wobbles. As I'm writing this, I have it as a 2*, but I'm literally talking myself into a 1*. If the owner put half the passion he puts into his response, this could be a half decent restaurant. Otherwise, it's just another Kelseyville restaurant trying to convince people that it's something it's not.

It was pretty empty when my friend and I got there so we got our pick of the best table. Wait staff super friendly and accommodating. Had a sushi roll for lunch that was delicious- tempura shrimp and spicy sauce topped with ahi etc. Great presentation and nice atmosphere to spend a couple hours catching up with a friend.

Best restaurant in the area! Cool views of the air strip and tasty food!! Our waitress was perfect, always there when we needed her, but not over the top. I got the chicken sandwich and hubby got the end of the world burger.

I went to Red's for the 1st time with friends and family..
They seated us right away with a smile 😃.
The waitress was awesome!
The food was off the hook!
I had the French dip, it was a very large portion, the meat was very tender and juicy.
For my side I ordered onion rings,
everyone at the table was trying them, they were very good.
The atmosphere was fun, we watched airplanes take off, who can ask for more.

This place is a hidden gem! We flew in with some friends and had dinner here. All four of us had a great meal and the service was excellent.

I had the burger which was cooked just right. The bun was moist and all the toppings were great. The fries were tasty and not greasy. It was all kept warm by having it served on a small metal tray about the size of a plate, which I thought was an innovative idea that worked well.

My wife said her vegetarian sandwich was very good and our friends reported that their chicken sandwich and Mahim-mahi fish were great as well. The chicken sandwich came with an excellent soup.

Our server was very attentive making sure our water glasses were never empty and checking on us often. She even pulled the shade down when she noticed the sun was about to get in our eyes.

It was a very pleasant evening and a lot of fun looking at the planes on the tarmac. I will definitely be coming back!
