We went to celebrate me and my older sister’s birthdays. There was a small wait time which we did not mind doing because everyone was from out of town. They got us in seated in a waitress came and took our drink orders. Immediately the music was was great and we sang our hearts out. They checked on us quite frequently. They made sure we had everything we needed. Our waitress was superb and handling all of our request. The DJ gave us our birthday shout out highly recommend great location. parking was easy. Definitely will be visiting again. Next time I’m in the Chicago area

I was invited for a b-day brunch here yesterday 2/8 and I must say I really enjoyed myself and I tried catfish and grits for the first time…..it was sooooo delicious….I really like this place and most definitely will be back!! Oh the waitress was AWESOME 🫶🏽

Redstar is amazing. Great atmosphere and place for brunch on the weekend. The DJ was great and had people stand up dancing, line dancing, stepping and all. I ordered Grilled Shrimp n Grits ($18) and Crabcake Macaroni n Cheese ($18). We also ordered a Tower ($90). I will definitely be back to try other food and drink options. I recommend Redstar, you will not be disappointed.

We love coming here 2nd time and was excellent again. Drinks were amazing and food was fantastic! Our server Crystal was awesome. She took great care of us.. The lamb chops and grits were exquisite. The best I have had(period) We will return. If you enjoy good food, great atmosphere w music, drinks, and excellent service go and check it out. You wont be disappointed! 5 ⭐️ For Red Star🔥

This was a great place to meet with friends and family! The service was great and the drinks were strong 😆. I had the shrimp and grits and it was fantastic! I also had the blueberry French toast…I wish they would have used thick bread or brioche, My husband got the Red Star meal, and my baby girl got the boneless wings. The chicken and the grits were also fantastic.

Brittany with the blonde hair was excellent! Her customer service was wonderful. Made us feel very comfortable. If needed, she can train other servers. She made the best drinks!! We will definitely be back. Karaoke night was fun!

So five of is went to 5Star for brunch Sunday 6/23/24 and it was really nice from the door. The atmosphere was chill and the music was great!!! Good vibes, good crowd!!! We started with the Long Island and Margarita flights and both were really good!!! The server we had was great, very attentive. The food was pretty good. I had the short ribs and grits. The grits were so good but the short ribs weren't so good to me. Two people had the peach cobbler waffles and those were bomb!!!! Catfish and wings for tow others and the wings were well over fried hard 🥲. Some one also had the crabcake mac and cheese and it was pretty good too. I'll definitely be back because as stated the vibe is niiiice. I would just try something different. First time but definitely not the last!!!

10 of my family members went to dinner Wednesday 7/17 and it was a whole vibe!!!! They had karaoke night and everyone was really good and every body was supportive of the performers!!!! A really good time. This time I have wings and shrimp and it was really good and I will ALWAYS get the Margherita flight 😋😋😋😋!!¡! Really cool place, great vibes.
