I recently stayed at this hotel during a visit to Dothan, Alabama, for a funeral, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The only reason I stayed here was that my mother had already paid for the room.

First and foremost, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The floors were filthy, and the microwave had dead flies in it. The bathtub was dirty, and the overall condition of the bathroom was appalling. The washcloths and towels were so discolored that I felt uncomfortable using them at all.

To make matters worse, my daughters and I were bitten by bugs in the bed! We had to call the front desk, but the staff seemed completely oblivious to the severe lack of management and cleanliness in the hotel. The refrigerator wasn’t cold, and the air conditioning barely worked, leaving us uncomfortable during our stay.

The floors were so grimy that my children refused to walk on them without shoes or socks. Thank goodness we only had to stay for one night. Both my daughters and I ended up with numerous bites on our arms from whatever insects were infesting the bed.

I do not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. It is in dire need of serious improvements and possibly condemnation. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!

If I could do 0 stars I would, We walked in and room smelled horrible with marijuana and cigarettes this was supposed to be a non-smoking room. there were roaches, and the bedding was not washed There was dirt, stains,and so much hair everywhere. The floors were dirty, as well as other areas of the room. It clearly was not cleaned. I had to use towels to sleep on and was freezing during the night because I couldn't use the bedding.There was garbage all over outside of rooms as well. I tried contacting them late that night and immediately The next morning and they wouldn't do anything it took them over a week,after I called,emailed pictures and videos to call me back all they said" was sorry but we do not refund since you book through Expedia we will let you stay for free next time," I explained I live in Florida and why in the world would I wanna stay there again.So they basically Did nothing.
Do not stay there,it was disgusting!!!!

I booked tonight March 15th 2025 to have a safe place to take shelter for me and my children but it was the worse decision made in a time of anguish. I felt force to check out not even 20 minutes after arriving. As soon as I opened the door the first thing my 12 year old saw was a used condom and box in the trash, next we found very questionable hair under the bed sheets. I immediately called to let them know about the whole trash issue to which she said she was alone at front desk so it would be a few minutes. My reservation was a non smoking room and it reeked of smoke. In the bathtub a huge spider was crawling out not to mention how filthy the bathroom was. At that point I was very worried for my children and last as my 3 yr old was getting under the bed covers a big spider came crawling out. I decided to check out and come back home to our single wide mobile home rather than have them sleep in such nastiness. When I went to let the front desk know and asked if I would be getting my money back she said she would have to talk to the manager first and call me back Monday to let me know, but I received no service from them so I will be calling my bank to dispute charges. They didn’t even offer to refund my money I had to ask so it really bothered me that they showed no concern over all the ongoing issues with my room. Do not recommend to no one with children.

Rooms were absolutely disgusting. The floors turned our feet and socks black. The shower gave my husband athletes foot. There were roaches by the microwave. The air conditioner was broken. There was black mold in the shower. Worst decision made!!!

Where do I even begin, this hotel is so disgusting. As soon as you walk in the sheets look like they haven't been washed. The flow Looks like it hasn't been properly cleaned. The bathroom you can definitely tell, that it hasn't been cleaned in days.
The sink overflows. The only good thing about this place is the location if you're desperate and you need a place to stay just for a few days. I said, go for it, but if you try to stay longer than that, this is not the place for it.This place is the most disgusting place I have ever seen in my entire life. And the front desk clerk is all here, just for a check..

I can't speak for every room but my room #227 had roaches, a lot of roaches. The staff did offer to relocate me to another room. The staff supported my departure and refunded my money.

This place charged me for an extra day they say was not cancelled when I checked out. They will not refund. They have lost a lifetime customer.

Heater did not work and it was 35 degrees outside. They would not give me another room. Everything is filthy. It is like the cleaning guy doesn't even wipe down anything. The health dept should be called on this place.

The only issue when staying here on valentines Day was that our room floor was dirty, and our TV didn't work at all, so I had to bring the and Xbox to the room to stream TV shows. Other than that, the front desk was very helpful and friendly.
