We just had an overnight here but we loved the location of the ranch and that we could bring our dog. It is a bit out of town so having a kitchen (we stayed in the cottage) was very helpful and it is extremely well stocked. Bathroom was good with plenty of towels. A/C in the bedroom worked fantastic. The bed was a bit soft but for some they like that. Owner was very welcoming and gave us a great overview. We would return again!

Red Butte Ranch Lodging is a beautiful place to stay. Great accommodations for every type of visit! Ruth is a great host and really cares about the quality of your stay. Awesome views and right on the river with lots of options. I highly recommend RBR! 5 Star for sure!

Ruth, the owner was phenomenal. After renting the lodge for a place to stay for several family members who would be traveling to attend a family funeral life happened. We began to have several challenges. She had a solution to every challenge we encountered. ||She made arrangements for us to rent tables and chairs so we could have a luncheon after the funeral at the lodge. She thought ahead about things we had not even considered and took care of them. She allowed us to come in early on the day we had rented the lodge to get things set up for the luncheon. She didn't want us to carry off all of the extra garbage. She was amazed that we broke down all of the boxes. She must have told us a dozen times thanks for making this so easy. That was exactly how we felt. She made life challenges disappear with ease. She made every accommodation we requested and some we did not request. ||Ruth was an amazing owner. There are not words to express my gratitude for her compassion, concern, and kindness. There was plenty of room for everyone. The living room is huge. It accommodated all of us. There were things for all age groups from age 6-90 to stay entertained. The view of the river was beautiful and peaceful. I would not hesitate to rent from her again. I just wanted to give a big thank you to Ruth for accommodating some special needs of ours as bicycle tourists spending the night at her B & B. Ruth let us put our bicycles and trailers under cover on a stormy night, ran into town to bring us back a delicious dinner, and allowed us to use her washer and dryer. All things that made our stay with her that much nicer. We wish her all the best in all her future endeavors.

My husband and son in law planned a fishing trip so we decided we'd make a trip out of it with our dog Beau. We stayed at the cottage by the river at Red Butte Lodge and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage had all the amenities of home, the mountain and the river views were beautiful, temperatures and fishing were great. Ruth is a wonderful host and Beau enjoyed his playtime with Ruth's dogs Deuce and Lucy. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend it to anyone.

A few of us fished the North Platte River for a couple of days and stayed at Red Butte Ranch for two nights. Wonderful accommodations, rustic but clean, modern and affordable. The hostess Ruth was so gracious and accommodating. I will definitely stay there next time I’m in the area!
