I absolutely recommend Ravenswood Loft! We had a small intimate wedding with a private ceremony and private dining experience here and it was absolutely wonderful. The director of the space was extremely helpful with setting up everything we needed for the space, including floral arrangements, connecting us with a photographer, setting up staff to assist with the food and drinks for the evening, and supplying so many things we needed for the night! Our friend had a 30th birthday celebration here previously and we knew the space would be just what we needed for our private event. Definitely 5/5 stars!

We had a baby shower at Ravenswood Loft. Communication from questions before booking to the day of the event was excellent. The location was easy to get to by both car and public transportation. The Loft was perfect for our event. It was so convenient as Nicolle had tables, chairs, dishes, flatware, tableclothes all onsite.

On the day of the event, we were greeted by Nicolle, who had set up the room as we requested and answered all our questions. We were able to decorate the room and carefully tape things to the wall making the already comfy inviting room the image we envisioned. Nicolle was so supportive throughout our event and even took a group picture of all our guests. The comments we consistently heard were how great the room looked and what a good place to hold an event. So glad we found Ravenswood Loft. Big thanks to Nicolle for all her support both before and during the event.

We chose Ravenswood Loft for my spouse’s 60th birthday party and it was the perfect setting. We had 65 guests and the space was very comfortable with a great ambiance. Nicolle set it up with tables throughout the room so it was easy to mingle and say hello to everyone and we had plenty of room for the dance floor. Our bartender Nancy Jane was fabulous. We brought our own food and beverages and rented the space's glassware. I especially appreciated how everything was super clear up front. There were no surprises at all. Nicolle was great to work with. The space is on the second floor with no elevator. (20 steps up). I also loved the price. Ravenswood loft was less than half the cost of other event spaces we looked at for a Saturday night. I highly recommend Ravenswood Loft for a comfortable, affordable, no surprises event for up to 100 people.

We recently hosted a baby shower for 25 people at Ravenswood Loft, and the space couldn’t have been more perfect! The loft is filled with gorgeous natural light that really sets a welcoming tone, and the decor is both stylish and unique—just right for creating an intimate yet vibrant atmosphere. We barely needed any additional decorations to make it feel special, which was a huge plus.

Nicolle, the space director, was exceptional. From the planning stages through the day of the event, she was attentive, proactive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went off without a hitch. She was incredibly accommodating with our needs and quick to respond to any questions, which took so much of the stress out of the day.

The layout is versatile and flows well, with plenty of room for mingling, and it was easy to bring in our own catering and alcohol. There was also ample space for setting up food and drink stations, so guests were comfortable and able to help themselves. Ravenswood Loft is truly a hidden gem in Chicago for hosting private events—10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a stunning, hassle-free venue!

Great inexpensive place for a celebrating life. I was there for an engagement party.

The costs are minimal because you do all the setup and removal of staging materials.

You bring your own drinks and your can purchase items such as buffet of nibbles. For drinks you supply the alcohol, mixers, wine etc. and you rent a bar tender from the owner.

Again a great place for a celebration party with the only downside your guests must climb stairs because the venue is on the second floor.

This is the perfect space with everything imaginable you could need to host a great event. It's clean, spacious, and suitable for anything from a party to a dinner to a meeting. There are plenty of dishes and materials with which to serve food and beverages, and the space is flexible such that you can make it your own/decorate it to your needs. There is a kitchen and bathrooms, and it's easy to find with plenty of street parking.

This event space was a hidden gem!
I had a surprise Birthday party for my Husband and 40 friends and family.
It was easy for everyone to park and the large open space has lots of natural light but still manages to have an intimate vibe with personality, that’s hard to find when your looking for event space, it’s usually very vanilla.
The amenities were all in place and we were not limited to a list of preferred venders like other locations. The management team was great with communication and everything was ready to go when we arrived.
I’d totally recommend The Loft and will be using them again in the future.

Had my baby shower here for around 80-90 people at a very reasonable price even with staff, set up, tables, and etc. I was in desperate need of a place and I found this gem. Not only was it clean but it was spacious and the manager, Nicolle, was very helpful and communicative. I have absolutely no complaints and I would highly recommend this charming venue. Will look forward to hosting more events here in the future.
