If you are looking for a wedding venue with naturally gorgeous style, exceptional food, and an organized team that will make the day stress-free, look no further than Ravenswood Event Center. Let’s start with the style – the space itself is naturally gorgeous and bright with massive windows in the Atrium. This is a truly great space for a ceremony and comfortably fits all guests. You can then go back up later for dancing! The Loft space is fantastic for cocktail hour and dinner and still has great style. Minimal decorations are needed because the space speaks for itself. Guests were loving the views and how unique the space was, and some family members spent a lot of time downstairs, by a collection of unique cars. Something that’s not clearly shown on their website is the patio space, which makes the space even better! There’s a massive patio off the Loft and the Atrium. With gorgeous weather, the guests will be on the patio space to get a break from the dancing – it’s a beautiful addition. Another key point is the food, which is directly from the venue. We were invited to a tasting and were blown away – we didn’t change much about the menu! Guests raved most about the appetizers and salad, and said the main meal did not disappoint. We also did our desserts through them, which were great to have next to the dance floor. Another key point is the organized team. Carly is FANTASTIC and has experience in wedding planning. She helped with so many details, coordinated with venues, and gave helpful reminders about what was next. She was present the day of and made sure everything ran smoothly. My husband and I have no regrets about choosing Ravenswood Event Center and highly recommend them to anyone who wants a unique venue that guests will not stop raving about for weeks after the celebration.

Wedding photographer here– I was absolutely BLOWN away by the Ravenswood Event Center! Not only is their space stunning, but the coordination and the staff are truly extraordinary. We attended a wedding at this establishment where my child was injured due to the neglectful care and maintenance of event chairs. The injury was an avoidable injury had the dining chairs been properly fixed.

My child walked around the table towards me and he came in contact with the chair’s screw that was sticking out from the back. The screw sliced his cheek open, narrowly missing his eye. After my request, a staff member brought over a first-aid kit, but when we opened it, it was poorly stocked. It did not even have a proper bandage. I had to ask other attendees for a bandage and thankfully someone had one. The only antiseptic was hydrogen peroxide which is not an acceptable form of antiseptic, especially on the face.

During this incident and the remainder of the night, not one staff member nor manager came to me or my child to ask if he was well or if we needed anything else. Neither did they ever write an incident report. We needed to seek medical care and the wound has left a permanent scar.

I had counted MANY chairs that were dangerous with screws sticking out from the backs. The poorly equipped first-aid and the dangerous chairs are not only a hazard to your guests and employees, but it is also a direct OSHA violation.

I went here for Open House Chicago and fell in love with this space. There are three distinct areas to hold a special event and the cars can either be on display or they can be covered up. On the top level there is a massive open area where they used to paint billboard signs that we were told most people have their wedding ceremony. The middle are we were told is used for a cocktail area before heading downstairs for dinner. We did not use them for our wedding as they were a little difficult to work with on scheduling but I have been to events here since.

I do NOT recommend calling. When I called, the guy that I spoke to was extremely rude. When I attempted to get information about an event he told me, "there are no events here that concern you" then he hung up on me. I called back and reached a voicemail. This event center is tied in with potential scammers attempting to steal money. I would avoid doing business with this event center.

I give the Ravenswood Event Center five stars. We were there for a wedding on a Friday night in early January, and the event venue was very hip and interesting. As a converted factory they did a great job Remodeling and adapting their banquet facilities which allows for quality catered events to be held there. We had dinner on one level and then we went to the second upper level for dancing and dessert. What an awesome 40 foot ceiling and 40 foot window-scape! Parking was very easy, and it was very easy to navigate in and out of this part of Chicago.

My business was targeted for a phishing scam in attempt to gain thousands of dollars. This event center was mentioned by the scammer. When I attempted to call and speak to someone at the event center, I was greeted with hostility and rudeness. I will be reporting this to the BBB.

Ravenswood Event Center is one of the coolest venues I've ever seen. It's got a unique flair, and it can accommodate lots of people.
