HORRIBLE!!!
We can blame the egg dilemma to a point, but the breakfast I had today was DEPLORABLE!
Had a taste for a gyros omelet, of which up till NOW was most gratifying...and because they are the only ones in the area who offer it.
THIS particular offering today however, was ATROCIOUS! An omelet (when made properly) should be firm and bright yellow in appearance...this was NOT! This omelet was PALE yellow and RUNNY. That's right, RUNNY. Why was it runny? My thinking is...
A) It used one less egg and made up for it by combining real eggs with egg substitute.
B) Used one less egg and added more milk
C) All of the above.
Taste was not up to par BY ANY MEANS!
Then on top of this they compensate by making more than half the plate hash browns, so it APPEARS you have a full plate of food! Then too the hash browns were clumpy (I imagine from sitting around because they were made ahead of time) AND they were cool to the taste. In fact NOTHING served was actually HOT.
And what's the deal with this? You order an omelet and you get either toast or pancakes with it. That's fine, EXCEPT when it gets served to you, you get your omelet in one plate and your pancakes in the other plate. WHY can't you serve pancakes first and hold the egg order UNTIL you actually SERVE the pancakes? This way, both dishes would be served (in theory, but not here at Raspberry's in actuality) HOT! Instead your omelet and hash browns are getting even COLDER waiting on the side till you can wolf down the pancakes!
This meal aside from drinks was $15.00!!! I had 2 glasses of milk at $2.75 each for a beverage total of $5.50! I went to my local supermarket afterwards and got 2 GALLONS of milk for $5.00! You do the math!
Let me say that up until now I was a regular here for many years and many management/ownership changes. I also realize drinks are higher, we have an egg issue, etc... But I would rather you raised the egg menu item a dollar more (or whatever is reasonable) to keep the same quality as expected, then to smack the face of a regular who WANTED (but no more) to keep supporting this local business.
So with tip included, this terrible experience cost me $27.00!!!
P.S. They haven't had a change in soups since previous owners years ago now. What's with that
It's no wonder this place is so vacant these days. You can't blame Trump's economy or Egg-bird flu for EVERYTHING!

Even thought the lot appeared to be packed upon arrival around 12pm today (Sunday) the seating, service and food were speedy. Everything was fresh and delicious. So filling we needed a to-go box for our pancakes!

The restaurant was cleaned. I went around 8:30am. They didn't greet me right away. They glanced at me for a second n finished doing what they were doing for a second (kinda feel like they were judging me at first) she finally gave me friendly greeting and sat me down. She was nice, and my server was nice, too. She asked if I wanted coffee, and she gave it to me right away. My server came over and took my order. She offered flavored cream before i could even ask, which to me is great customer service. I had ordered the Philly skillet with over medium egg. I added jalapeños and avocado with a side of raisin toast. The coffee was on rotation, which was great. I think I had like 5 cups (giggles). Coffee was AMAZING. The food came out really fast. The steak was chewy, but it was good. My time there everyone who served me was really nice. My overall stay was great. She gave me a box before asking also. My total was $25. Most definitely, I will be going back.

Both the cinnamon French toast and Nutella chocolate strawberry crepes were equally underwhelming as they were disappointing. The cinnamon swirl french toast was incredibly dense and hard. The strawberry and crepe with Nutella drizzle was watery and flavorless. Tasted like chocolate toilet paper. Would not recommend these dishes.
