If I could give it no stars I would!! Highly disappointed in this place!! The staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was there for a extended stay, and my room was NEVER cleaned by housekeeping. I had to go to them every night and get my own stuff and do it myself. I asked several times, and it was never done. And one point I was screamed at by the "manager" in front of other guests simply for asking for towels. And all these guests agreed with me that it was unprofessional and rude! I asked several times to speak to the owner and was always given a excuse. Save your money and stay somewhere else!! This place is a joke and it's disgusting!! And almost all of the employees live there, so the hallway stinks from cat and dog urine and smoke.

Price was reasonable. Breakfast was good.
Hotel is a little dated but reasonable clean.
Service and check in was good.
Location off the freeway 2 minutes.
Found an excellent Chinese takeout restaurant nearby who also deliver. Fantastic food. (China Express)
Definitely would stay again .

This place was really nice for the price we swam and everything they are close to good food and they offer things for sale snacks n etc but the breakfast was outstanding. Waffles eggs yogurt toast sausage links n more 😋
I Def will come back here they was so accommodating for the 4 eleven year Olds we had with us and even gave us adjoining rooms. Rooms were clean and nice soap n shampoos too.

This is obviously an older facility which is in need of updating. The room itself was clean, one of the trashcans had an empty soda bottle in it with no plastic bag. The bathroom had stains on the tub, obvious mold on the caulking and stains on the ceiling from an obvious water leak in the past. The towels were already hanging on the towel racks instead of being folded and placed together ready for use, we we unable to determine if they were clean or not.

This really isn't a bad place to stay. If you want to save $70 a night that the holiday Inn would charge you, this is the place.
They don't have as many breakfast options as the hotel next door, but it was still good, and for the purposes I come to Effingham once a year to spend time with family, this does just fine.

They allow pets, which is great, and I find the rooms have good sound deadening between the walls that other hotels may lack. One of the cleaner hotels I've been at, they actually clean the vents in the bathroom.

Positive: "" Negative: I stayed for almost 2 weeks and my room was never cleaned! I had to do it myself daily, and go get things for myself from the front desk. I will never stay here again, really bad experience and the staff is unprofessional and rude!

Hotel itself was clean and manager was very accommodating for room request. However, the heat never turned off during the night even though the thermostat was turned down. The tub looked dirty or stained like it had nonslip grips in it that were removed.

Positive: Staff was awesome and the bed was cozy. Negative: There were long black hairs in the bathroom (my hair is blond and white). Not a huge deal but not hard to clean up either.
