Below average hotel. Checked in. Hall-ways smelled like paint. The head boards had been removed and the holes where the screws were removed were not filled with drywall putty. Room did not have bar soap or shampoo. Had to go to front desk. Room smelled. They need to use o-zone to clean up room. Painting was done poorly between ceiling and wall. Took a shower next morning and tub did not drain. Reported to front desk and it was fixed. Went to fill ice. Machines on the ice were all empty. Management should purchase ice for Talladegha weekend. Real nice lobby.

(BEWARE) PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING! DIRTY ROOMS AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Booked a room for 4 days. Started off with NO shower curtain in the restroom, television was broken, no ventilation, bed was OLD and they had a plastic bag over the fire detector (CLEARLY A FIRE HAZARD). Complained numerous times regarding the television and the shower curtain. Took them 3 days to being me a shower curtain and when they brought it they just handed it to me without staff or housecleaning to put it up. Elevator is old and in violation of expired service. Doesn't open up for about 10 seconds. Complained and requested my refund which they denied, so I'm in the middle of filing against these slum lords. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! CALL CORPORATE!!!

The rooms were decent for the price, but several issues made our stay less than ideal. First and foremost, the reception staff, particularly Maria, was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. When I requested an itemized receipt, she refused, claiming she couldn’t provide one, which is unacceptable. Her attitude was rude and dismissive, setting a negative tone.
The bathroom also left much to be desired. The bathtub appeared damaged and swollen, as if it were about to give way, and the hallway had a noticeable unpleasant odor.

The most baffling aspect was the breakfast service. Instead of a standard buffet or self-serve option, someone brought out pre-prepared plates from the kitchen without explanation, leaving both us and other guests confused about the process.

While I could overlook some of the minor inconveniences, Maria’s behavior was what truly made our stay disappointing. In the hospitality industry, professionalism and courtesy are paramount, and unfortunately, this experience fell short. I hope the management addresses these concerns, especially regarding the staff’s attitude, to prevent future guests from having a similarly unpleasant experience.

Hotel is decent when walking in but needs updating. The rooms are still out dated and my 1st had roaches and just overall dirty. 2nd room still not clean bathroom so I didn’t drain properly so water would sit for mins before it was completely drained the vent didn’t work so it was very hot after showering. Did not feel comfortable there with 2 infants so I ended my stay a day early could not get reimbursed until after 8pm when the manager came in. Refund did take a couple of days but he was nice enough to give do it.

The elevator inspection had been expired since May of 2023. We pressed floor 1. It went to floor 2, but the screen said we were at floor 3. The door on the bathroom was broken. It wouldn't shut properly because the latch was coming off the door. And the internet was garbage. Service, however, was great. The lady at the front desk was very nice.

After reading several negative reviews about this hotel, I was apprehensive about my stay here. However, to my surprise, it wasn't as bad as I had feared. The hotel's condition is evident as soon as you enter. While the lobby seemed a bit outdated, the front desk agent warmly greeted me with a smile, making a good first impression. I overheard her interactions with other guests, and she was equally kind and helpful to them.

Despite the noticeable lack of air conditioning in the hot hallways, the operational elevator quickly took me to my room on the 4th floor. Although the hallways were warm, they were quiet and free from any unpleasant odors. The old vending and ice machines I passed by seemed like they were on their last legs.

Upon entering my room, I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was neatly made and very comfortable. Despite some known drainage issues in the bathroom, such as standing water in the tub and slow drainage, as well as problems with the toilet and sink, they were manageable without needing to contact the front desk.

This hotel is conveniently located near the airport with ample, well-lit parking. If you're seeking a budget-friendly option close to the airport that's decent enough for a short stay, this could be the place for you. While I might consider staying here again, I believe I could find better accommodations elsewhere.

Positive: "" Negative: The elevators have inspection certificates that are more than a year overdue. My partner and I got stuck in the elevator more than twice. We couldn?t get fresh towels during our 5 night stay since ?they didn?t have any?. Would not recommend this hotel.

This started out to be a good stay and quickly went down hill we stayed for 3 nights and was only given wash cloths for the 1st night ( 4guest in our room) was told other nights they didn't have any to give and ended up using a big towel you dry off with to bathe. Unacceptable in my opinion. Not to mention the breakfast area waiter was RUDE and just hung her hand in my face like I knew what she needed I found out she was looking for breakfast voucher. Vending machines took our money. Then after check out they CHARGE me the deposit claiming the housekeeper stated we SMOKED in our room definitely didn't happen I have 2 young children and smoking isn't even allowed indoors even at my own house. If they review the cameras they would see that my husband actually left and went outside multiple times to smoke! Was told management would be there at 8pm for me to dispute the charge but when I called back management wasn't there. I feel like they stole from me and this is not acceptable!

Edited to add its now almost 3days since check out and still cannot get I touch with a manager to discuss the charges. I keep being told management isn't there until 8pm and every time I call after 8pm he is not there. Sounds like RAMADA by Wyndham NEEDS to clean out with a new front desk clerk, new kitchen server and management!
EDIT AGAIN: it's been 16 DAYS since check out and I still have not gotten a call from a manager. Matter still not resolved! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
