Stayed here a few times. One thing that is consistent is the lack of pride the housekeeping staff have in their work. You're not going to get the cleanest room in town. You're also not going to get the best continental breakfast, atmosphere, or service. What was consistent is the comfort of the beds in each room I have been given, the friendliness of the staff, and the lowest price in Anchorage. I know some people look for more but those last three are why I keep returning. And the location is pretty great. Yes, there are problems here... I would say noise is the biggest. From the traffic, 'campers' tented up out back, and extremely heaving doors slamming shut, it can be frustrating. Also the inconsistency of the televisions in each room I stayed in. On two separate visits my first 30-45 minutes in the room was spent figuring out how to operate the television. Picked up the phone in each room for help and they didn't work either. Once I did get the TV working I could barely hear it over the portable HVAC units. The place definitely needs an upgrade and Wyndham should be ashamed for turning a blind eye to the problems. All that said, I would stay here again. Even if you choose not to based on my review.

Stayed here one night . The price is great if you are looking for a cheap place to stay for one night then this is it. Don’t expect much the homeless are literally camped out the back of the building and approached us on arrival . The hotel is locked and you need a key card but when there is a will there is a way so don’t trust your safety to a key card. The rooms are decent not too bad we checked around and it’s a bit dusty in the corners and under the bed but everything else was decently clean nothing extraordinary . Lock your vehicle and do not leave anything of value in it. We couldn’t get out fast enough the next morning .

Good location since near our tour meet ups but there are a lot of homeless peeps around though mostly harmless
Good complimentary brekky
Homey ambience at the lobby
Not so friendly staff esp the manager though was kind enough to allow early check in for $50
No front desk personnel most of the time
Overcharged my stay - waiting for some amendment on this- $150+50 and asked for $100 dp or incidental which is refunded on check out. I was charged $305 on my credit card billing for the stay and separate charge of $100 for deposit. I offered to pay $100 for the $50 early check in but was told by the manager that he had no change..

Positive: It was close to my dentist office. Negative: Most of the staff I encountered spoke very little English or acted like they didn?t understand. The phone and TV did not work. Looked out the window of our room and there was a line of homeless tents plus they were hanging around all the doors.

Room was pretty much clean, cleaning staff really nice. But that's it, check what i didn't like.
I don't even know where to start:
- Wi-Fi is not working, you need to use "coupons" to activate your 1gb of data and even then it constantly disconnects. Never experienced such things before. 2024 and you don't have Wi-Fi in the hotel...
- Everything is really dated, the room needs renovation, to close my door I needed to really smash it a couple of times, to the point that the cleaning lady kept asking me “Is everything fine, why did I smash it that bad?"
- I had a perfect view of the homeless camp, yes, the hotel is back to back with the homeless camp, you can even see them inside the lobby, definitely weird vibes and not a safe place
- Breakfast does not exist, it's a joke
- The front desk needs training, during check-in the front desk spoke with someone(friend or family member) with a camera on, I had the feeling that it was like I’m here to wait for him to have time for me, not me who actually paid money for the service. Or another time he was playing a mobile game and it was like “Ahh, it’s you again" type of interaction.
- For some reason on the second day someone tried to enter the room(with a key card) while I was inside the room around 8 a.m. - After escalation to booking my key card stopped working

Please read all other reviews, people are not joking. You can find some decent place for the same money via Airbnb. Just don't stay here.

When we pulled up to the hotel at 1am after a long flight our driver said to us "oh wow, this used to be a crack den." At this point I should have just turned around and went home.....||||Checked in with someone who was new and not particularly happy to be working there. Was given the wrong room type and basically told "tough luck." Moved to correct room type the next day but had to jump through many hoops and they did not make it pleasant or easy. New room was also dirty but that turned out to be the least of my problems.||||Breakfast - stale bread and bagels and "coffee". Just skip. ||||On our last day I noticed that several papers and my airpods were missing from the room (there was no safe) and currently Apple was showing them several blocks away at another property that according to Google Reviews "is frequented by drug addicts". I asked the front desk if anyone has serviced the room and that I was missing some things. I was told that "housekeeping is no longer allowed to service rooms without the guest being present as things had been going missing." They offered no recourse to my missing items and simply shrugged their shoulders when I asked for help or to speak to a manager.||||I didn't have time to fill out a police complaint and as a Wyndham Platinum member I had hoped that Wyndham would step in and help but after several emails and calls a supervisor made it quite clear that even for the smallest issue everything has to be handled with the individual property. Needless to say I wont be slumming it with Wyndham ever again.||||So if you would like to experience a former crack den with rude staff, stale breakfast and garbage on the floors and roll the dice on your personal belongings being there at check out this is the place for you.

I was a little skeptical about staying just by reviews but we had a great stay. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind. Our bed, pillows everything was great. Had all of the amenities. The only issue we had were there were no kleenex or toilet tissue so we went downstairs and got some. Also forewarn the parking is very tight but there is parking in the back. However there is a very large homeless camp out back as well. All in all it was a very restful experience.

Arrived from the airport to a less than friendly reception team. Assigned to a room away from our travelling partners. The room was not clean, had curtain tears and the bathroom was not maintained. During our 3 day stay, we did not have any change to linen or bathroom amenities. We felt uneasy the whole stay as there was a homeless settlement stationed behind our room at the rear of the Ramada. Noise and fighting ensued each day. The shuttle-truck for use was old and tired and not easily accessible. We never actually rode in it with safety in mind. Breakfast was sub standard. Dried out waffles on the menu and nothing further. We chose to walk each morning to the city centre after that first day (No shuttle) for our breakfast. |On top of all this, the tv in our room continually broke down. You might ask how did all this happen with all the resources at hand to check these places Fact is, you are part of a travel itinerary that is pre-planned and often these hotels are part of a 'partner motel' travel plan. Even our bond was kept by the hotel until we questioned the validity. I say: 'Buyer Beware'. Please don't waste your money on a poorly run accommodation arrangement that carries an exclusive name.|Our experience visiting Anchorage was affected due to this poorly run establishment. I would urge the management of 'Ramada' hotels to look into the operating measures adopted by this franchise. - Very disappointing as a result.
