The room was fine. It's the lady who called me during Thanksgiving dinner to tell me she was going to charge me an extra $100 for having my dogs. When I booked the room, all it said was that pets were welcome. And except for some hair, my dogs didn't damage anything. After paying, then you get all the rules, in fine print, which I didn't read until after the call. I don't stay in hotels very often. So, I'm not up on all the rules. But I definitely didn't appreciate the call during Thanksgiving dinner.

I appreciate the friendliness & location of this property, but for the price there are concerns. I feel that paying more for a non- smoking room is unfair. Smokers should be the ones to pay more. The breakfast was disappointing- just cold choices with no protein options. First impression of the room was pleasant, but I question the washing of all bed linens since the side of the mattress pad had a disgusting splotch of what appeared to be blood on the side of the mattress pad. That pretty much ruined the whole stay. I periodically need to spend the night in St. Charles, but I will not stay here again.

Good location. Close enough to amenities the town has to offer.
I'm don't typically leave negative reviews, but this is the truth about the experience.
Upon check-in, we usually get a cup of coffee from the lobby to take to the room. The pot needed to be refilled, and when I asked about fresh coffee, I was told there were coffee makers in the room and to get it there. It gave me the impression that they don't care about the guests, or that they just didn't want to put in any extra effort.
The room was ok. There should be a higher standard for attention to detail for room cleanliness prior to checking in new guests. The mattress was also very hard. The building is not very well maintained and needs someone to clean the halls and stairwells. As they were dirty and dumpy.
The breakfast, unfortunately, was a huge disappointment. Don't expect a full breakfast. They offer waffles, bagels, cereal, toast, and yogurt. There are no protein options at all. Just carbs and sugar.
The price was reasonable, but clearly, we got what we paid for.

The staff was very friendly when we arrived, the rooms were cleaned and nice, the breakfast was a bit disappointing would have been better if they had stuff like eggs and bacon at least. But it’s worth it for the price that you pay for,

Dirty. The cleaning ladies left all sorts of trash under the archair. Floors are so dirty is was nauseating. Upkeep is needed. Hvac system was being repaired and had construction the whole time. I went for sime peace and quiet away from home. The pools were both shut down. The breakfast was unavailable. Incredibly disapointed.

All was good here except for the security outside. No parking lot lights were working. I was concerned about my vehicle with a mountain bike on the back. I parked under a light but it did not come on. The front desk staff was very nice and we tried to figure out the best place to park for security. In this process she discovered that 4 of the 12 security cameras were not working either. Lights and cameras need fixing.

every tbh ong was mostly fine but at the end of the stay the female south asian staff never was extremely rude and immediately became nastier as if i didn’t just patronize the place as a client.. you know the people that put food on the table for the folks whose jobs depend on that place staying open… there are cheaper places to stay in the city that are far more luxurious… i think i’ll elect that option next time.

The hotel is ok, compared to others where we have been in 40 days in US the staff was not very open, especially the lady who did the night shift. Spacious room for 4 people but with carpeting. Quiet place. Ample breakfast but not hot. Laundry room available.
