Left my phone charger. Called the next day. I was told they found nothing, and the room has already been rented, so there’s nothing they can do. It’s a really nice, expensive phone charger, so naturally it was stolen by house keeping, or not noticed. The guy at the front desk shrugged it off even though I said I would pay for shipping. He clearly did not care to help in the slightest and said there’s nothing he can do. Stay somewhere trustworthy. Your belongings can’t be trusted here, if I can’t even get a phone charger returned.

I start out trying to give every place I go to five Stars. And then it's on that place to lower that rating. I pull in and instantaneously I see a lawsuit because there's so much ice and snow already on the parking lot from the last storm it made walking treacherous. Someone's going to slip fall and sue this place.

Staff was very friendly very attentive during the checking process. I get to the room and it smells like sour clothes which wasn't fun. Then I go into the bathroom and I see what look like I'll repaired hole in the top but the repair was done so poorly it just looked like from a distance black mold. I couldn't even shower which was sad because the room was utterly gorgeous and spacious. It had a little love seat because it was an extended suite. I loved the room but it stunk and the bathtub needs replaced

You could do better Quality Inn This place was cool but those things I listed is why you get two stars

Does your hotel make it a habit of stealing people's debit cards right out of their wallets? Well, jokes on you! IT'S ALREADY BEEN CANCELED! good luck trying to use it, thieves! We will be reporting it to the proper authorities.

Maryland, at the front desk, is amazing and has a warm personality. She was able to quickly access my situation and handled it promptly
and efficiently! She was able to help me out for a checkout when my hotels were mixed up. The hotel is clean and had everything you need. All the other staff i ran into were equally cordial.

Positive: Inside the hotel is very decent and clean. They do serve a small daily breakfast. Negative: The overall location of the hotel is in a suspect area, keeping my own safety in mind. Turned out to be fine,

Positives: plenty of parking space, efficient, polite and friendly check-in process, and while I didn’t eat breakfast there the breakfast area looked large and like there were a good number of options. Also they have a pool, though I didn’t use it. The bed was not too firm or too soft and was comfortable. I didn’t hear much road noise from outside, either. The location wasn’t too far from St. Louis, which I wanted to explore more. The overall price was affordable too.

Note based on other reviews I’ve read: I booked this place from another site and while I normally do check Google reviews in addition to whatever hotel/motel search site I’m on before booking, I was in a rush this time to get back on the road. I later saw all the reviews about bed bugs/ other insects, and thankfully after doing a *very* thorough inspection of my room, even using my regular phone flashlight with the room lights off and a UV blacklight flashlight (I had bought after a very negative prior hotel stay in a different city), found zero evidence of bed bugs, stains from bed bugs or other insects on the mattress, armchair, blanket or sheets, ironing board or elsewhere. There might very well have been other rooms impacted, but mine was not thankfully. (Not that that gives everyone comfort, but because I arrived very late I didn’t want to have to look for another hotel unless I absolutely had to)

Negatives: That said, the high-touch spots that definitely needed much better attention cleaning-wise after inspecting them using my UV black light flashlight were: the toilet paper dispenser, the bathroom door handle, mini fridge door handle and upper exterior portion of it, the microwave and the ice bucket lid. I’m not even mentioning the locations of various splatter spots or high-touch handprint areas that lit up on parts of the walls, since I don’t expect cleaners to wash walls unless something is easily visible to the naked eye. (The fridge door handle, microwave (inside and out) and ice bucket are some of the most common areas that aren’t the absolute cleanest in many hotels or motels, to be fair and according to several hotel cleaners who inspect things carefully when they travel.) A couple of the high-touch spots in the bathroom were clearly encrusted with layers of gunk (so not just from one guest). Thankfully the bed, nightstands, desk and tv shelf didn’t ā€œlight upā€ under the black light at all.

I want to state that I understand many hotel/motel/airbnb cleaners are often not given enough time (and deserve better pay in my view for what they do) to adequately complete every task thoroughly in each and every hotel room, so I’m not trying to give them grief. It does seem like this hotel needs to allow its cleaners to spend more time cleaning in high-touch areas. Even if they do not thoroughly clean these high-touch areas I listed after each guest, they should somehow incorporate more frequent sanitizing of high-touch areas in rooms such as light switches, door handles, appliance handles and doors, toilet paper dispensers, ice buckets and anything else that seems frequently used.

And no, I normally don’t feel the need to leave such a detailed review about the cleanliness of a hotel, but hopefully things will improve here.
