excellent value for price. very safe location located off the main road down a little side street. very friendly staff, clean rooms, microwave and large fridge in room. the room kinda smelled like a sewer but it wasn’t too bad. i came from out of state as a solo female and felt very safe in this hotel

The price for this hotel was very reasonable. It looks like it's had a partial remodel-the lobby was modern-looking. The room had what appeared to be a new, very nice vanity and sink area as well as new flooring. The mattress was just okay and there were holes in one set of sheets on the bed. The shower/tub insert appeared to be newish but the faucet handle was stained and the toilet seat appeared to be very old, scratched, and worn. The hotel was very quiet. I'd say that their biggest asset is the friendliness of their staff. Check-in and check-out was a pleasant experience. Overall, it was a decent stay, especially for the price.

If I could give this place a zero I would we had a late check-in, which of course the hotel was notified. We also did bring our pets as stated on the Website the hotel is pet friendly not only did our room smell like sewage, along with feces and urine. (Room 136) The rooms are not modern. The paint is chipped everywhere in the room. The furniture has dents and cracks and is very chipped old and worn out, the door to the bathroom, You can barely shut the door. This doesn’t even put a cherry on top of our visit, we were in town for a family wedding, I had manager Danny Who was what I'm assuming is the overnight manager and then the star of the show who refused to give his name; He was an Indian man at the front desk during the afternoon and this particular man stated that my dogs are not service dogs, even though we provided paperwork. FYI at a pet friendly hotel you do not have to provide your serviced animals credentials. The Indian man at the front desk, proceeded to argue with me about my dog not being a service dog per the state of North Carolina and he printed out from a non-accredited website what is considered a service dog and none of it made sense at all, especially because we provided a certified and registered paperwork. while at the wedding I received the Indian man called my phone over five times leaving two different voicemails with a sense of urgency telling us to come back and get our dogs or he would put them in the pound because they were barking at a pet friendly hotel. We had to leave our families wedding early to go back to the hotel because that said manager made that threat. He also locked us out of the hotel room and had us pay over $200 Because he said our dogs were barking, and that was against their policy! I am furious writing this. I will never patronize this establishment and I suggest you don’t either. They will be hearing from my lawyer about my service dogs and how he treated us and how we had to leave a wedding to come back to a hotel because he threatened to take our dogs and put them in the pound and we have all of this on record , something needs to be done ASAP

What is misinterpreted about a ESA? And what law and or policy does it state, for to you even to provide paperwork at a pet friendly hotel? We were charged over $200 but we definitely got it back. Also why not also mention the fact that the Indian man threatening to put our dogs in the pound? I have him on video saying that and my lawyer has it as well. You Also forgot to mention that the room we were originally in smelled like feces and urine, Which is why Danny changed our room. You also forgot to mention the non-accredited print out that he tried to give us that my lawyer also has. It’s a two star hotel for a reason do not patronize this hotel. They are racist, unprofessional, and the entire hotel smells like sewer very unkept and he also locked our room with the dogs in there. But don’t worry this won’t be the last that you hear from us

This was my first stay here. Its a nice hotel. Its clean, well lit and in good repair. Room was nice. Quite spacious. Had a fridge and microwave. Bed wasn't the most comfortable. Service was good. Its easy on and off I40. Theres plenty of places to get food and fuel. The hotel website said they had hot breakfast. There was breakfast but it was toast and bagels and cereal. If you want a hot breakfast you'll need to go elsewhere. Fortunately there's a First Watch across the street. Overall, for the price, its good.

Definitely nothing special about this hotel. One of the rooms we booked actually had a roach crawling up the wall. We didn't see them in any other room. They did allow us to trade the roach room for a different room we didn't see any more bugs. So maybe someone brought the roach into the hotel I don't know but there was a huge problem with a strong marijuana smell being in the hall every time we left and came back you could only smell it in the hall not necessarily in the rooms though.

Great spot near golf courses. Service was excellent, room very tidy and clean. Will stay there again.

I thought the rooms were really nice and big. Modern, updated. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Was a nice quiet location. The coffee was PERFECT. Thank you!!!

My big negatives are that the whole first floor of the hotel smelled musky like it had recently flooded and hadn't properly dried, and that th continental breakfast didn't offer a single source of protein. Sure a waffle maker is cool but does not a balanced breakfast make. Room was clean though and fitness center met the bare minimum
