I do not know how this place remains open. Affordable should not mean inhabitable. The one positive, the front desk person who received me when I checked in was very professional and this review has nothing against the staff that I talked to. The negatives, the room that I was given had graffiti, not the kind graffiti but the one with bad words. The room smelled like someone had been smoking inside. The bathroom floor was puffed and water would come out when you step on it. There was stain on all the sheets. I was not going to let my family sleep under those conditions so I left for another hotel. I made a nonrefundable reservation and when I tried to get my money back I was told they could only reimburse for 6 out of the 8 nights I reserved. Please consider this when making a reservation at this hotel.

The recent renovations in the rooms, like the new 4” window blinds, white LED bulbs on ceiling , new furniture, and bathtubs. These updates have certainly improved the overall appearance of the room.

However, I have noticed several serious issues that need your immediate attention:

1. Water Leakage and Mold: There is significant water leakage from the bathtub on ground floor, which is causing mold to build up in both the bathroom and sink areas. This is a health concern that needs urgent remediation.

2. Dirty Floors: The floors in my room are not being properly maintained. Black dirt sticks to my feet as I walk, which is highly unsanitary and uncomfortable.

3. False Advertising Regarding Breakfast: The property’s website still advertises complimentary breakfast, yet the kitchen has been closed since the pandemic. This is misleading for guests and needs to be corrected.

4. Potential Law Enforcement Activity: I have observed unusual activity near the southeast corner rooms on the first floor, which may involve law enforcement.

IF IF IF, I could give service and rooms a zero star I would. Checking in was fine. Room was nasty. Stains on towels and sheets. Long black hair left over in the bathtub. Found a smoke detector in one of the dresser drawers....why is there a smoke detector in a drawer? Stains on walls from dirty hands by the light switches. Bathroom door wouldn't close all the way because it wasn't aligned properly. Check out time was 11AM, went to check out at 10:45 and the doors to the lobby were locked, lights were off, and no one was in there. There was a doorbell, rang it several times, and nothing. Googled the hotels phone number to check out. Someone answered and said "Hello?" Told him I was trying to check out. Some Indian guy came to the hotel lobby door in pajamas, took my key, and that was it.

They say it's a 3 star hotel but it's no better than a one star motel 6 I've stayed at in the past. I looked at the reviews from a year ago uo to months ago with the management responses about being "sorry" and working to change, but it's just lip service. They haven't changed anything so they don't match the definition of being sorry. My story:

Is this place in a bad area? I show up last night when it's slightly raining at 9pm to check in and the north lobbwith newish locked. The guy inside motions me to go to the other door which I see has a key in it. I go & it too is still locked & then I hear tapping at a window to my left. At this point It really felt like I was a 3rd class citizen not being allowed inside from traveling while it's cold, dark and raining. After I confirmed my reservation through show to clean up the smell. Well the shower is moldy all over with newish caulk covering the old mold. I'm also tall so I can see more of the top that others would miss. I make for a quick shower & go to sleep. Bed was cimfy enough for a decent sleep. There's no sound deadening as you can literally hear everything from your neighbors and conversations outside. It's not a quiet place to stay.
I use the shower again in the morning and grab the last bosy towel only to find that it's dirt-stained. Okay, I just use the hand towels and dry off in front of the fan. They advertised breakfast in the travel booking, so I go down to eat then check out. Well, there's no more option to eat so it's just checking out at 8am. Lobby doors are still locked. A passing employee says I can just leave my room card and leave with nothing to sign & no receipt.

Will NOT stay here ever AGAIN! The rooms are NOT clean: the bedsheets were not fresh or clean(obvious they hadn’t been changed), there was lipstick stains on walls and bath tub, the chair was dirty with stains, sink was disgustingly dirty. False ad about breakfast.

Room was dirty. False advertisement of hot breakfast. No cups or coffee accessories next to coffee pot. Bathroom wasn't clean.
