The best hotel in Cairo, and the worst too since there is only one hotel here. My adivce is to drive somewhere else--this place is beyond worn-down. The room looked like the decor, including bedding, was from the 1980s. The smoke detector in-room was broken, and would go off if the shower was too hot. The fire alarm in the hallway had been pulled out of the wall and was dangling by wires. The pool was a grimy, cracked mess. It's located off the interstate, but in the middle of fields with crumbling buildings. It is like something from a B-grade horror movie. The place should be bulldozed and rebuilt from the ground up.

Hard to get to. Clerk only gave one room key. Room was small and beds uncomfortable. Needs updating badly! Pass this one bye. There are better places 20 miles ahead in either direction.

My family and I had a great stay at this place. The staff were kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy. Free breakfast was served and they have wifi. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling near that area. Will definitely be back when we go visit family again.

This place is a little remote when driving in at night. The place needs a good updating for sure. Room furniture & hotel on a whole could use a good cleaning but it was quiet & we were really tired.

It was late when we checked in. The key card would not unlock our room so I went back to the desk. The clerk reprogrammed the key. Again, the key would not work for the room but it worked for the hall entrance door. Obviously, there was a problem with the room door lock. The clerk offered another room. Upon entering the room, it was hot and muggy. AC was not running so we turned it on. I went to take a shower and the tub and toilet were disgusting. It was like someone else had been using it and the cleaning staff failed to clean. Body hair everywhere. I went back to the clerk and asked if there was another room. None. He was all booked. I asked if anyone could clean the room. No one. I requested a refund and was politely given one. The clerk was very nice but I would not recommend this place.

A real gem in the rough. A little older and it shows, but the room was clean, bed comfortable and the linens were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was what you expect for free. Will definitely stay again, on our route to visit family.

Do not stay at this place.

It's dilapidated, dirty, and disgusting - and has no internet.
Thankfully I was only there from 10pm one night until 7am the next morning.
I was driving and had to stop overnight somewhere...it's close to I-57...so that's a positive.

I've never stayed at a "Quality Inn" and would not stay at another one.

this email finds you well. I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at your hotel, which I must say was incredibly disappointing. As a frequent traveler, I have never encountered such subpar accommodations before.

Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the room had a terrible odor, and the water coming out of the sink was rusty. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that there was no pool on the premises, despite it being advertised on your website.

To make matters worse, the morning of our check-out, the downstairs clerk rudely banging on our door at 10:30 am, reminding us of checkout at 11am . This lack of professionalism and courtesy is unacceptable in the hospitality industry.

It is evident to me that your establishment lacks the basic standards of a decent hotel, and I am appalled by the overall experience. I have already made a reservation for September, but I regret to inform you that I will be canceling it and taking my business elsewhere.
