We stopped here for a quick bite, the food was amazing. Very authentic Mexican food, we got the quesabirria and some tacos, everything taste amazing!!! If you are around you should try them!

Good spot to get some very tasty Mexican Food with a whole lot of flavor and good portions.

I had to update my review this place used to be so much better we just got lunch from here it cost almost $50

Portion size is good I will not complain you get your money's worth. But the flavor is there a non-existent. The sauces are okay they used to be better for sure. Street taco cost $3.50 yes Street they are small. Carnitas very dry. Birria or beef Bittia Very Chewey. Breakfast burrito very bland. No seasoning whatsoever.

It has been almost a year since I've been back over here this was the last good place to in Chowchilla

Food is AMAZING! Hot and fresh every time! Staff is always very friendly and polite. I love coming here for breakfast and recommend trying the Burrito Loaded with their green salsa!! I’m so glad Chowchilla finally has a great Mexican food spot that is affordable and authentic.

Clean, nice tables, plenty of specialty plates and portion size and taste is great! inside a convenience store is another plus. Overall I've tried a lot of items and have not been disappointed yet, they cater as well. My lunch pick every time.

I dont usually start with this but, you guys have to try this place.

From tortas to tacos, burritos, sopes, nachos, breakfast items and hamburgers.

I have personally tried burritos, tacos and the qhubole burger. All items have exceeded my expectations. The flavor from all items left me floored. Some of the best flavors I've had before.

The atmosphere although you might consider it sort of small, it can seat about about 24 comfortably in total. In addition, hospitality is great. Staff is kind and make your food with care.

The owner is a great guy. Incredibly responsive to any feedback and you can catch him always putting in work alongside his staff periodically.

Overall experience takes 5 stars.

Update: 08/23/22.
I've taken on Sopes and The fresh lemonade with chia seeds. The cucumber and strawberry they put in the lemonade just add on to how refreshing this drink is. If they have some left when you swing by, I recommend you try it. As for the sopes, no complaints there. They were stacked with everything it comes with and did a good job filling up my appetite.

Best food I had all weekend! Cabeza was succulent and flavorful, and tacos were FILLED to bursting with that deliciousness. Salsa bar provided the perfect toppings, restaurant was clean and comfortable, and food served piping hot. What a fantastic find, we will be back
