I just recently had my wedding here and it turned out spectacular!! The weather did not cooperate, as I had wanted an outdoor wedding but Shirley and her staff were able to change things around in record time and I was not disappointed!! The venue is gorgeous, the staff is beyond amazing and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Shirley is so knowledgeable, easy to work with and really helps you make your wedding vision come true! Have your events here people!! You will not regret it!!

Proven Ground is a beautiful place to get married. We loved being here. The owners, Shirley and Larry are wonderful people who do whatever possible to make your day just as you want it. There are several options on where you can have your ceremony on the grounds and also inside the barn as well. My daughter wanted it outside and even though it was 95 degrees that day, there was a beautiful spot under the trees and the heat was not an issue. It was a wonderful experience for our family at Proven Ground Farm. With Shirley, you not only get a venue for your wedding, you get a wedding planner. She is excellent at what she does and no matter what curve we threw at her, she handled it all. As mother of the bride, I would have been lost without her.

I'm a Wedding Coordinator who was hired by a bride and a groom for a recent wedding in Fall 2016 that was held at this venue. Proven Ground Farm is beautiful and unique. That aside, I would NOT recommend it. I was unable to perform the job I was hired for due to the owner who continued to take over. In addition, the other vendors (that I have worked with in the past) at the event were all frustrated as well since the she continued to interrupt them from performing the jobs they were hired to do as well. I'm not sure what is included in the package when you book an event here, but assume that if you have your wedding here it will be run by Shirley and per her vision for your day. She rushed the wedding rehearsal so it did not goes as smoothly as when I am able to do my job and run it myself.

I have heard from another bride who is having her wedding here soon that she has felt this way about the owner too, but appreciated that I confirmed her suspicions. She is now being extra cautious as she plans for her day.

If you want a beautiful venue and a controlling owner, it's a great choice. However, if you would like your vendors to be able to fulfill the position you are hiring them for, I would consider another venue that gives you more freedom.

Went to a wedding here and it was a beautiful location. I would recommend to anybody that wants an event in a scenic working farm. The staff is very knowledgeable and easy yo work with.

Had are wedding and after party here. Beautiful above and beyond what i expected. Price is great knowing ur wedding day will be perfect cause they really listen to what u want and need and make it come to life

I realize it's supposed to be rusteak back to nature but I really think spend a little money on mulch & landscaping be a little bit nicer. Plus need more room if you're going to ever think about having anybody to do any dancing for such as receptions or parties or what have you should be a little bit nicer and classier
