I had an incredible dining experience at Primal House. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the Philly cheesesteak was unforgettable—tender, flavorful, and melted in my mouth with every bite. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, striking a great balance between casual and upscale. The staff were genuinely personable, making the experience feel welcoming from start to finish. Certainly the best butcher shop in the county. Super well stocked with crazy good quality meats. The new restaurant is a off to an amazing start. Simple things like french fries are to die for. The Philly Cheese steak was the best I have had. There is also a new brewery at the same facility. The first pours of beer were outstanding - so high hopes as this place fully opens and matures.. but certainly off to a 5 star start!

So excited to have primal open! I have been obsessed with their meats since I had them for the first time 1+ years ago. Chef Drew is phenomenal as well. He catered a 100 person event a few weeks back for Primal and everyone loved it. Beer is fantastic too. I’m partial the Pilsner and cream.

It’s also so convenient to have a one stop shop for fresh produce, bread, and other cooking supplies!

Primal House is the best new addition to Paso! They really have it all, a full market, butcher, eatery, brewery and a sit down restaurant coming soon. We are so excited to be regulars here. The chef is sooo talented and makes even the simplest seeming dishes feel extravagant! It is all made from scratch and with such attention to detail. There is nothing I wouldn’t recommend.

I think they just took the nicest people in Paso and asked them all to work at this place. My husband and I were there for dinner for an hour and a half and we had no less than SIX different people come up to our table to check in, introduce themselves, and ask if we needed anything. It was the most homey experience ever. The wine, beer, cheesesteak, burger, mac n cheese, and fries were all absolutely outstanding. They’re doing it right here!!

Very friendly staff, clean and great selection. Meat cuts are tender and thick. The salami is incredible, highly recommend the duck and truffle. Don’t forget to get some fresh sourdough bread too!
