This gorgeous setting offers many advantages for multi-day fishing charters! Three years ago, we stayed one night. This trip we stayed three nights. The recently-renovated and enlarged Lookout Cabin offered comfortable surroundings and breathtaking views! The well-stocked kitchen enabled fresh catch to be prepared and shared. Lia and Randy are the best hosts and make each visit special for those staying with them. The location enables quick access to some of the best fishing in the world! Any time we return, we'll be certain to stay at Port Ashton!

Port Ashton is spectacular! A well run family lodge in pristine Prince William Sound. A nice dock and fish cleaning area, and freezers to store your catch. Clean and spacious cabins with cooking facilities and a nice grill on the deck. Spectacular views with whales in the bay. Basing our fishing trip out of the lodge was brilliant planning and made our trip more efficient and allowed us to try more fishing areas for longer times, instead of making the long trip back to Seward or Whittier each day The family went over and above to make sure everything went right for us and to make sure we felt welcome. I hope to make the trip again soon and be able to stay at the lodge again.

Our stay at Port Ashton was a part of a 2 day fishing charter with Crazy Rays out of Whittier. The lodge blew me away. Lia met us at the dock and helped get our bags to our cabin. She was so friendly and efficient in making us feel welcome and oriented to the place after a long day on the water. The setting is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean, and thoughtfuly equipped. Lia even had loaner swimsuits for the salt water wood fired hot tub, and brought us homemade brownies. After an excellent night of sleep I wasn’t ready to leave yet and hope to go back for 2 nights!

Great experience! Clean cabins and well stocked with cookware to cook your own meals.||We spent one night and brought our own meal of steaks, baked potato, and salad as wells as breakfast. Outdoor gas grill and oven/stove worked great to cook all. ||Make sure to invite your boat captain to your dinner if your up for hanging out.

We were treated like kings!!! Lia and her son were so welcoming and gracious during our entire stay. They loaded our bags off the boat, brought them to our cabin and showed us around the lodge. The cookies were awesome and we took advantage of the grill to cook some pork chops before we shut down that evening. We also ventured into the hot tub and enjoyed a little history of the lodge from Lia's son, who also encouraged us to join him that evening at the fire pit for even more stories. Up early the next morning and our bags were again transported back to the boat. And the Port Ashton Key Ring was a nice touch to a perfect stay. Thank again for the hospitality. We will be back again!

My husband, our adult son, and I spent a delightful two nights at the Port Ashton Lodge in mid-July, 2020. This is a gem of a place to stay with delightful comforts after a day of fishing and boating in Alaska's gorgeous Prince William Sound! The cabins are cozy with well-equipped kitchens. Barbeques are on the deck for grilling your fresh caught fish . . . after a relaxing visit to the hot tub. Leah and her family provide gracious hospitality (fresh baked cookies at night are a lovely touch) and share information on the area's interesting history and surroundings. The lodge makes it easy to visit a special, remote area surrounded by beautiful wilderness.

Our nephew Shawn took us on an amazing trip to Port Ashton Lodge. Randy and Lia were so kind and welcoming. The cabin was absolutely wonderful and it was set up with everything we needed. We stayed in their beach house and comfortably slept six. Our accommodations were part of a guided fishing trip through Captain Keith of Crazy Ray’s. ||Leah and family were very friendly and welcoming. You could tell customer service was a passion they take seriously.
