Great place so far, it is close to road but really not bad at all. You AC or heater is louder. Sites are really nice, and has great areas for kids in between area trips. Looks well maintained as well.

We stayed the weekend before Halloween in our RV to visit the area for Fall festivities. We were hopeful it would be a fun park we’d revisit, but unfortunately, we won’t be back as we’ve stayed in others nearby that were much more enjoyable. Pros: they have a fenced in dog area, a small pond, and a little mini golf course that would be fun for families, and a small playground for kids. Our friends enjoyed the little train thing around camp and I’m sure the pool is fine in warm weather. It’s also close to Apple Hill and Placerville. Cons: The location is directly next to the busy/noisy highway, sites are small and assigned by the resort, the resort texts rules reminders at weird times, there is a lack of bathrooms, and the staff was unwilling to accommodate any site preferences since they are chosen by them. Kind of weird. We’d hoped for some Halloween/holiday fun as we’ve had at other places, but it’s not that kind of camp spot.

We can't say enough about our stay at Placerville RV and Resort. We chose this location because of their long list of family-friendly ammenities and reasonable rates, and it did not disappoint! The cabin was clean, the beds pretty comfortable, and it was so awesome to have the little extra luxuries of an AC, mini fridge and microwave. Not to mention the tv and dvd players with hundreds of movies you can rent for FREE at the on-site market.

The pool, although chilly!, was clean and well maintained and the perfect reprieve for the hot weekend we spent here. We loved the family movie nights- one of which was screened on the pool lawn!, the old-school arcade with 25cent games just like the "olden days" as my daughter says, the train rides, goats, playground, and my personal favorite- the outdoor kitchen!

This place is true nostalgia at its best and such a great place for families to disconnect and spend time together. Apple Hill is just a few minutes away too and if you don't want to cook, check out Wally's Pizza or Timmy's Brown Bag near by.

Although I know they were short staffed (who isn't these days?!) you would have never known it. Everyone was kind, the trashes were never overflowing, and grounds, bathrooms and showers exceptionally clean. Thanks so much Placerville RV Resort team for making our stay so great- we'll be back again soon!

Nice RV park. Lots for kids to do within the park grounds. Easy to find. Friendly staff. Clean grounds. Only drawback is its proximity to the hwy. It can be noisy due to hwy traffic. Overall, a great place to stay.

We stayed in one of the cabins while we were being evacuated for a fire. I was very happy to see the cabins had AC, mini fridge, and microwave. I had booked 4 nights but after the first night we ended up being allowed to go home. The person at the front desk very kindly refunded the 3 nights that we didn't stay. I really appreciated their kindness and would definitely stay here again.

Jay and all the staff here are outstanding! Super friendly and always willing to help solve any situation that came up. We stay here long term with our work in the area and have found it to be the best park to stay in. We can’t wait to stay here again when we’re working in the area. Best park and staff ever!!

This RV park was a good place to hang our hat for a week. The sites were spacious but not huge. Our site had 30 amp service which did limit our electric usage a little. The site was generally flat and leveled easily with our coach. Water and site dump was good. There were facilities: mini-golf course, pool, showers, laundry, game room and convenience store, propane sales. ||Good: |convenience facilities were clean and usable|Nice playground|Fenced in enclosed dog area|Mini-golf |close to casino - 1 exit away|staff friendly||Areas for improvement:|Prices were a bit high at $80/night for ours. fishing $15/day/pole- 2 fish catch limit|The grass at the site was thorny grass - shoes were a necessity, don't lie on the grass|gravel RV parking not concrete.|more maintenance needed - handles on water spigots were broken / missing, the fishing pond island was covered in goose poop. I would not eat the fish caught- water nasty

First time here, Spent 12 nights. Staff was very accomodating, even made coffee in the morning. My Campsite (56) was nice, glad i had a shady spot, (99 F couple days). Its a Family oriented Resort. Price per night very reasonable. Shower seating a bit small.
