We stayed here during the Thanksgiving week camping. We was out next to the water. What an amazing site to wake up in each morning. Water pressure was great. The park was a little slow so I would suggest a water regulator. Power was constant. Tim that works the swing shift guard gate was amazing. They just don't make people like that anymore. Very helpful on the experience. We will definitely be back.

What a dump......for a "private" higher end resort, the launch area is poorly maintained (don't use the bathrooms). The restaurant, expectedly over priced, but the food was not any better than a bad fast food joint for twice the price. The employees are rude and not helpful....flat out told me "not to come back" when I said something. AND even though the hotel and resort was mostly empty, when I tried to make reservations a few days before for Saturday night (before I went) they refused, insisting I pay for two nights. No plans to go back, I am sure somewhere else will appreciate my money more.

We love this place my family usually comes here twice a year to stay at 1 of the peninsulas we have been coming a few years now and will continue to go. Water is great and could never go wrong with floating down river. also a few fun spots to use atvs!

Such a fun place with good food even if the menu is limited to lunch items even when it's breakfast.
The staff is super friendly and attentive and the cocktails flow quickly, which when you're on vacation is very important!! There's a lot to do besides eat and drink and I've heard the bungalows for staying here are awesome!

I can only speak on the peninsula camping area and OHV trails.
I have been coming here for about 5 years now with a group that has been coming longer than I. We always camp and have a boat for the group.
This year I rented from JV trailers and brought my own RZR out. The trailer was perfect for my family and I, and was set up before we pulled into camp. We will for sure come back.

We rented a spot for our rv. It’s beautiful and the employees have been really helpful and friendly but their rules in the off season are dumb. We had a friend that wanted to spend the night in one of the cabins as he was doing business in the area and needed to stay overnight. They turned him down. Who turns down business!? Especially when you are 90 percent empty.

So much fun. The beach area was clean and fun. The bar and restaurant was awesome. Overlooking the water and beach. Boat dock right by. Definitely a must go-to during the season.

Like every year, I love this place. Clean and always fun. My preferred sites are Cove #2 C and D. Far from all the parties and quiet. You can actually relax. Safe never had anything stolen.
