Great course and always very well maintained. It is a very challenging course and probably the best public course around. The clubhouse is great and recently renovated food area I think. Staff is super friendly. There is a broody teen at the front desk that seems unfriendly but I think he just a quiet teen so won’t hold it against him. Probably a swell guy if not “at work” lol

The practice areas is top notch with a great chipping and sand area. Practice green is a bit small but still decent. I do always hope the range has the grass open because the mats are horrible and some are curly up even. They just need replaced soon as it seems like an easy fix.

I play here regularly. Challenging course. Great staff. The greens are quick but not in great shape. They don’t seem to move pins often and when they do they often just move them 2 or 3 feet. It’s hard to have a 5’ putt that doesn’t go over an old plug that has been scalped or is shallow and below grade. Somebody on staff may need cup cutting lessons. But I’ve played here since it opened and it’s still my favorite course in the area.

Played here this past weekend. The course is nice and kept in generally pretty good condition. A couple holes are better than others for sure. Pace of play was VERY bad. Was stuck behind a group of 5 the entire day that did not let us play through at any point. Saw two different rangers out on the course and still nothing changed. Complained to the pro shop at the turn and again nothing. Round took probably an hour longer than it needed to.

Played here yesterday. The course was in excellent shape. The rough was legit so hitting the fairway was a real advantage. The greens were in great shape and rolled true and fast. Highly recommend if you're looking for a course to play in the Springfield area.

Piper Glen is by far the best conditioned public course in Springfield. It is the only public course with bent grass fairways. Greens are generally smooth and can be fast. Staff is friendly and accommodating in my experience.
