We suffered a death in our family and needed a large venue on short notice to hold a celebration of life. Susan with the GFWC was INCREDIBLY helpful and provided almost instant communication throughout the process. The location was in close proximity to downtown and parking was easy and free. The facility itself is nice; the floorplan is open and there are ample amounts of tables and chairs. The kitchen was a huge plus for us as well. It’s an historic building and has a great story which adds a unique flavor that we wouldn’t have been able to get at a generic banquet hall or hotel.

I would highly recommend this venue for future events. The great downtown location, historic and beautiful aesthetics of the building, ample size and open floorplan, and the warm and caring help the GFWC provided, make this an easy five star recommendation for event space and I would book it again.
