I was thrilled to discover a Philz Coffee right next to the restaurant where I met my friends for dinner. Naturally, I couldn’t resist stopping by afterward to grab my favorite hot Mint Mojito coffee! The service was excellent, friendly and attentive and the shop was clean and well-maintained. I also learned they just opened last month, which made the visit even more exciting. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the village area!

Was excited to try something other than Starbucks…… but waiting at the counter for 5 minutes having the baristas walk by and not even acknowledge, or say “I’ll be right with you”. They weren’t event that busy…… ending up leaving and going to Starbucks. Based on the other reviews it’s definitely something they need to work on. Can’t be successful without proper customer service skills.

No food ordered, two coffees took 30+ minutes. The coffee was excellent, the servers were nice. Any new establishment should take more time to train all the employees. If the establishment should be fast service the training should include time management and racing to see who can get it done first the way it was ordered with the best presentation before opening to the public. I will wait two months and try again.

I think Philz is a fantastic addition to Claremont Village and I'm happy to see it's finally open! They strike me as a "good things take time" kind of business, so keep that in mind if you're looking for something quick on the go. I like that philosophy, personally, and enjoyed taking in the space while waiting for my drink. The space is very bright, friendly and inviting and I felt the staff was just the same! I witnessed the cashier, Alyssa, go up to a table to ask them about their drink and I was very impressed by that. I also appreciate that they encourage you to try your drink first so that they can make adjustments right then and there. I've never seen that before! My barista, River, was very warm and I loved the iced mojito he made. The mint flavor was fresh and not too overpowering and it made for a complex drink. Eager to stop in and try more again soon!

This one the first time i had philz coffee. I ordered on uber eats. I had a large dark roast with hazlenut and chocolate flavor. The drink was bitter and was strong. After a few hours, it triggered my anxiety. Then I had diarrhea. Went to the bathroom like 5 times. I even sharted at work. DO NOT drink their coffee if u have IBS or sensitive stomach!! UGHHHH!!!!

Everytime i come here to pick up my order the baristas just seem so stressed and overworked. Not one smile on any of their faces. They always make my drinks really bad and I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt so I keep coming back thinking it’ll be different and it’s just a bad time for them. I end up being late to wherever I’m going even though I order way ahead of time. They go past the time of when I get the pickup ready message. It’s very frustrating. Management should do something about this.

Good coffee! Im a big fan of maple flavored coffee which I discovered at Tim Horton's in New York. So I was excited to learn that Philz has maple flavored coffees. It didnt taste as good as Tim Hortons so Im hoping once they iron out the kinks of opening a new store or maybe I need to figure out the sweetness levels to get it right! They were busy but the service was top notch
