I have sat a little more than half way and found opra glasses would be helpful to see expressions. Acoustics are incredible. From the third row you see clearly and the sound is still great. The photo shows how big the place is.

The CalPoly PAC (Performing Arts Center) is truly amazing! It's been a hub for diverse art formats and enriching the community for all ages. I've enjoyed tens of events here, and they always go off without a hitch – a testament to the "hundreds of people behind the scenes" the announcer mentioned. The sound, lighting, and visibility are great, and parking is always close by and not a hassle. Most recently, the SLO Opera offered a wonderful opportunity for children to test their interest in the professional arts and perform in the chorus. Attending the PAC is always rewarding! I can't wait for the next curtain call.

My wife and I saw Chris Botti there. The acoustics were wonderful and the sound was terrific. Plenty of space in the seats and leg room in front of us. There's an opportunity to buy snacks or drinks before the show. You can bring the drinks in the auditorium but not the food.

The Randy Travis Concert was excellent. The show incorporated video of his early work in a restaurant kitchen to his performances throughout his career.
In addition his wife filled in with tidbits about Randy between songs.
The ice cream on the top was James DuPre's outstanding performance of a few of the best songs by Randy Travis.

I recently visited the PAC for the first time. We had tickets to see the Pipe Organ Christmas Concert and was in awe of the sound through out the room. Such a beautiful theater and I can't wait to go back. 10 star in my book

Clean, well-staffed with lots of ushers nearby. Only complaint as a plus size person is the seats are a bit narrow but no more so than the standard.
