This is a place worth revisiting even if you are only in town a few days. It would be impossible to get a different thing every day of the year. They have so many options with their smoothie bowl bar! So so fresh and bright and delicious. Order one of their pre-set bowls or just start from scratch. You really can’t go wrong!

One of my favorite acai spots in the area! They always have a ton of toppings options so you can really customize your bowl the way you want. Everything tastes so fresh and yummy! The bowls are a little small, but that's the only downside I can think of. Definitely try Pepo if you're hungry for an acai bowl!

This is the cutest smoothie spot I’ve been to in a long time. They offer lots of different bases for bowl, including Matcha survey, Açaí, lavender Ube, coconut sorbet and usually they have Pitaya but today they didn’t have it which was a bummer.

The toppings are limitless. They have their own granola blend and then they have lots Of whole fruit topping options!

In addition to that, they have 10 different nuts you can top your bowl with, plus different powders and drizzle so on top. The prices are pretty reasonable! Especially for everything you get! Will definitely come back and hope they have pitaya next time.

Another subpar bowl from Pepo. 😔 Been coming here for years and have noticed a recent decline in the quality. Slim fruit selections today and got cantaloupe melon on my bowl that was rotten. Serving rotten food is a Food Safety Violation and can lead to food poisoning. I hope Pepo will ensure their food is safe before serving to customers. I’m disappointed in Pepo and will be searching for a new place for my acai bowls as I can’t risk getting sick and continuing to pay for their declining quality.

Honestly, when Pepo first opened up I was not a fan. We typically went to “the spot” also in Claremont. More recently, my daughters made more requests to go to Pepo. I would send them in and never craved or had the desire to “try” their fruit bowl concoction. Fast forward, one day I asked if I could try some, and Jesus, I was hooked from then on.

At first, going there and not knowing what their offerings mean, or taste like can feel 😬🥺 but the customer service is kind and so I asked to try anything I wasn’t sure about.

They were patient, and, now I know what I like and have integrated more fruits into my diet. I will pick this as a “treat” over the Starbucks run.

While everyone says the prices are great, I was wallet shocked because I think it’s on the expensive side, but, it’s a business and considering the location, overhead and cost of goods, I think it’s fair.

The fruit has been spot on in terms of quality and I appreciate that.

Hats off to the owner and staff.

A tip for consumers. DONT hold your bowl from the bottom so as to keep the bowl as cool as possible and gives you more time to enjoy 🙂
