Branden listened to my concerns for a new spa heater that would be rat resistant. He also suggested adding lights to the area as all my other attempts to keep them out failed. (And it seems to be working!) At my request, he and his coworker willingly moved the old cement pad for the new heater that sure looks rat resistant! They worked quickly and cleaned up after. I am very happy with the product and their work.

Today Ruben came out to service my pool. He was on time, courteous and above all honest and informative. He did not try to oversell me where a lot of other sales people would have. And he could have overcharged me, but did not. Was happy with the service and the price. Will continue using patio pools and Reuben in the future. Thank you so much for a good experience.

I was in need of a new pool pump (which had served me well since 2001, with about 3ea (1.5 hp) motor replacements over the years. But now my Pentair Challenger pump (a brut) was on its last legs and was leaking like a sieve. So I called Patio Pools, (who had done a great job of applying pebble-tek to my pool in 2011) to come out, look at my set-up and give me a bid for a new pump system (pump & motor). Two young guys came out the next day and told me I now needed a "variable speed" pump and one that is at least 3 hp. They never checked the breaker box to see it could handle 3hp (which it could), they were not sure that my pool pop-ups would work with the new pump, they were not sure about my question as to the effect of summer temps on the new pump that was controlled by ICs (integrated circuits), though they did not explain how that new control would work, and were not sure about warrenty info. They also said that my old 1.5 hp pump now needed to be a min. of 3 hp. They were at my place for about 10 minutes and, as they left, yelled to me if it was Ok to charge $70. I said ok but was not sure why they were charging me that. The next day I received a quote from Patio Pools for $3, 290 (vs my old pump which cost me $350), all due to new regulatory rules to save electricity, and the other costs charged by PP. It turns out, when I asked what the $73.50 to my credit card was all about the woman at Patio Pools told me it was for the 2 guys to come out for the quote; and that extra $3.50 was for the gas cost, and $70 for wear & tear.
All of this was so disappointing to me. What happened?
Needless to say, I declined their proposal and will not buy another item or service from Patio Pools. Very disappointing.

The only positive part was that the Service Manager did email me answering some of the concerns that I had emailed to PP the previous day.

We let this company know that we were interested in having a pool installed. We spent a good bit of time on the phone discussing what we wanted. We were told we would receive a call in roughly two weeks from the designer. I followed up after I didn't hear back. I was told they were swamped, but we would hear back. Never did. We found another company that welcomed our business, and we are on our way with installing the pool. It's not a good first impression, Patio Pools.

Patio Pools has been our pool service for 10 years. There are pluses and minuses to Patio Pools service. The pluses are that when you assign you a good technician they are good meaning they do what they’re supposed to do and put chlorine in the pool and check the balances and clean the pool BUT when they’re bad, they are really bad - we’ve had a mixture of both. Right now, our Pool Guy is pretty good. The second issue is that there is a disconnect of communication between the repair department and the pool technicians that clean the pools. Sometimes that disconnect is even with the owners, and when the technician finds a problem, you have to put in a service request and have a different service provider come out, and sometimes that takes a month or two before they fix what is having an issue in your pool.
Another good thing about patio pools is that they have a pool building Dept. so if you need anything done like moving pool equipment, or adding a float that fills up automatically or adding a heater to your pool, they can do it. We’ve had all of those done and we didn’t have to go outside. And they did it right So all in all, I gave them 5-five stars, but they need better communication!!

Patio Pools and Spas and Marco in particular have treated us so well. We recently purchased our second spa from them and once again Marco knocked it out of the park from start to finish. Thank you! The new spa is perfect. -TJ and Jacque

This is absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt. The worst place to go to. I bought a hot tub from these idiots and it was for a new hot tub.
1 week later it started to leak. They sent their tech out, and when he removed a panel discovered that it had been Fixed. So that means it was a used. Hot tub Can't get any worse than that. They are totally dishonest people. And that's not the first time they have a really bad rappore of being rip off artist

Patio Pools built my pool in 2005 and have serviced it ever since. Most recently a tech came to clean the filters. I explained to him that the pump wasn’t operating when it should be. He took the time to identify the problem and fix it.
