Had the worst experience with the food . I ordered steak with puttanesca noodles, the steak was all fatty and not much taste to it, it was literally all fat and stiff. Not only was the food bad but the floors are dirty, your shoes stick to the floor and my husband used the rest room and tell me that the whole bathroom is filfty.. I would recommend to stay away from there!

How this place has such a high rating is a laughable. I went with my gf to get some good pasta or so I thought. In the past they have been amazing, but this time was the worst.
My bruschetta if you could call it that was basically just cheese bread on top of marinara sauce. The bread was soft and not toasted like it should be for this kind of appetizer. Then the butternut squash ravioli looked like puke put on a plate. No presentation. Lot's of filling, but such sadness. Finally the chicken with eggplant had a very sweet taste to it and not very fresh.
Service was extremely slow since I had to ask multiple times for water even with the owner coming to our table 3 times and the server coming to the table about 3 times as well.

The service is quick, nice and efficient. The prices are pretty inexpensive for the Bay Area as well, I had the pecorino for $17, salad was $3.95 and creme brûlée was $6, tiramisu was $8. The portions are big and everything was very good.

Some improvements:
Keep prices updated on the menus. Online the prices are still at $12.95, though pastas are now $16.95. Though still reasonable, it’s still a 25% increase in price. Also the salad on menu in person with entree says $2.95 but it’s really $3.95.
Pecorino had plenty of meat but the bites without meat didn’t have much saltiness to it.
Also free hot bread!

Great neighborhood spot. Portions are huge and basically everything comes with pasta so prepare to carbo-load. Super friendly staff - would recommend for a nice lunch or dinner with your family!
