Beautiful room with great communication! The ease of coming and going was a breath of fresh air for people like me who hate the bother of checking in at a desk. The balcony is a great little touch for your morning coffee!

Of course cannot forget the jacuzzi tub which was much larger than I expected and a relaxing surprise.

I had to travel to Springfield for medical purposes and decided to splurge on a room with a jacuzzi tub. This was a beautiful home with a fascinating history. The furnishings were elegant and it was tastefully decorated. James was very responsive to any questions or concerns and gracious enough to allow me to check out late due to a delay in my transportation. Definitely recommend and support this small business!

The accommodations were nice, I was planning on enjoying a nice relaxing evening there, however I was not informed there would be a Christmas party taking place just below my room. In an inn that size, the noise of the party was inescapable and it meant getting any meaningful peace or rest was not possible. I did message the staff to voice my complaints of the noise and they were able to get the noise under control within a short amount of time so. I was appreciative of that. Had the noise not been an issue so late into the night I would have given 5 stars.

My Springfield Illinois apartment burned down on 4th and Adams in June.
I stayed at many of the top Springfield Hotels including the Crown Plaza during restoration of a new apartment.
My wife booked me into the Pasfield House and my stay was outstanding.
I enjoyed my stay so much that I ended my new apartment lease early and returned to the Pasfield House.
I stayed in almost every room and I enjoy the
George & Capital Rooms.
When I return to Springfield on business I always stay at the Pasfield house.
The owner Molly takes much pride in her accommodations offering.
The Pasfield House is within walking distance to all the important historical sites in Springfield.

My fiancé and I stayed in The Nest, The Hive and The George. All of the suites were beautiful and amazing! I actually proposed to my fiancé during our week long stay and plan on planning our wedding event at The Pasfield House!

Google Bed and Breakfast + Springfield, Illinois and Pasfield House will appear. But they are not a B&B. No hostess to greet us (in fact, no one the entire time we were there); no common area in which to relax and perhaps meet other lodgers; one entrance through a dangerously long and narrow stairwell; no evening wine; no breakfast unless we wanted to pay for something to be delivered; no contact information in the event of an emergency; no recommendations for dinner. A very large and empty house. What if someone alone falls down those stairs? What we did have: instructions to not spot the kitchenette counter with wine or citrus juice; instructions to strip the beds and put the laundry in the laundry room (no idea where that was); and oh yes, leave a tip and leave a good review. Never mind that we never saw anyone.
I should add, we attempted to contact Pasfield House. They "hid" behind Booking.com and vague emails, and when finally reached, provided absolutely no apology or effort to right this.
