Their strawberry shortcake is indeed quite good, but I didn't expect their other cakes to be so underwhelming.
My wife ordered their mocha cake, and I had the mille crepe cake--both were very disappointing.
The mille crepe cake's cream completely lacked a delicate texture, and each layer was dry. It felt like the layers were just mixed with the cream, resulting in a terrible texture, almost like eating dough.
I wasn't planning to compare it to Lady M, but I didn't expect it to fall so far behind.

Considering the price of nearly $9 per slice, I really can't recommend it.

- We took the cake for a birthday party, loved it
- The lattes are good, 7 out of 10
- I liked the croissants too
- There are plenty of places to sit inside
- What can I say, come and you'll enjoy it too

I know this chain exists, but didn’t really get to try it until this year. Pretty solid bakery with a good selection of bread and drinks you can order. The people are quite nice when ordering, and are willing to help answer questions.

I like that it shows exactly what is inside each bread, this is great for any allergies like to egg. I know what exactly I can or cannot get. This location is pretty big and I believe still fairly new, in the same plaza as 99 ranch.

Will stop by again soon and get some more goodies. Until next time !

This place is really clean and the bread is delicious. They have a lot of Japanese style bread and also cheesecake. Fluffy cheesecake. The place has plenty of parking and there is also quite a bit of seating. They have a variety of breads, both sweet and savory and also cakes. This is one of my go-to places because I love their strawberry cream croissants. I also really like their chocolate ganache cake. It might now be the cheapest, but their bread is delicious and great quality. If you feel a little adventurous, then you can try some of their Japanese breads. They are very tasty. Definitely a place to check out if you are near Chino Hills, but they also have another location in Downtown LA, and both are great.

This place just new-opened in our neighborhood. It's pretty similar to 85⁰C, which is located nearby. The bread and the sandwich were great, and the coffee was just okay. Overall it's a bit pricy, but the taste matters. We decided to come back for the looking-good cakes next time. By the way, it is so nice that there are more and more shops in the neighborhood.

If you've been to 85° Cafe, you can get the feel for this place. Stopped in here on my way to Costco and pleasantly enjoyed it! Cheap pastries, imo, and the warm items made it worth it for me. I got the Hash Brown Bread and for $3 it's worth coming back for that! Definitely stop in as another alternative to 85° Cafe!

This place is never ready on time. I often go in between 8-8:30 in the morning and many of their shelves are empty, and if food is on the shelf, there are no labels. I end up walking around, wondering what I’m looking at.

Right now they have a challenge to purchase butter pecan products however, they had zero butter pecan products on the shelves. The first employee I asked, ignored my words and I had to ask her twice before she began to speak to me. When she finally did acknowledge me I asked her if it was OK if I asked her a question. She had some sort of speech impediment, so this may have been why she responded the way she did however, her tone and mannerisms were rude. In addition, she wouldn’t make eye contact with me. In the end, she said they didn’t have any butter pecan products out, which made no sense because I had already told her there was nothing there and asked when they would be out. I asked to talk with the supervisor and the woman I spoke with, who was wearing a light blue, button-down shirt, had a very thick accent, and I had to ask her about four times to repeat herself. The last thing I heard her say was to try calling later because they make them overnight. Then she asked me if I wanted to come back later on. I told her that was pointless since I was “here now” and the visit was for “morning coffee.”

Anyway, this isn’t the first time they don’t have things ready. Today, I was there a little before 10 and still they weren’t ready. I think I’m done with this place. Maybe corporate can do something.

The different pastries I've eaten have been good good. I really like the mini strawberry lemon cream croissant.

The house coffee (hot and iced) is disgusting.

Customer service is disappointing, not welcoming or attentive. Why do they have online ordering but neglect customers who go the pick up area? I've ordered 3 times online went in to pick up my items, but was ignored each time while trying to get their attention.

I won't be back at this location.
