Chicken kabobs, rice, gyros and fries were very good. Tiramisu and vanilla bean white mocha coffee were excellent!

Papagalino Cafe is an absolute gem! This beautiful Greek cafe has such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the in-house bakery is a must-visit for anyone who loves freshly made pastries. I ordered the Greek fries and a chicken souvlaki wrap, and both were delicious! The fries were perfectly crispy, seasoned just right, and the wrap was full of flavor with tender chicken and fresh ingredients. The service was like Europe be expected to chill and wait and relax

Delicious food! Great portions. Super fresh and hot. Super excellent service by everyone on staff. My server gave the perfect amount of attention and service. I felt very comfortable dining alone then when my family came it was no problem to move outside to enjoy the weather at a different table. Increase in diners at dinner time but not too noisy. Seems to be very popular with community and/or medium to large groups of returning guests consisting of families and friends. Everyone was professional and attentive to the diners. Beautifully designed interiors with clean bathrooms. Also, diagonal parking space in front makes it convenient to park.

Another disappointing experience at Papagino…
This was my second time at this place… and my last. The first time I remember the service was bad. New server with little or no training, overstretched on the number of tables she was serving, and her English was so minimal that she had a hard time understanding what we said. This time the server was even worse. There were 7 of us at the table. For whatever reason my plate never arrived and the server was nowhere to be found. We asked another server for help, she went and got our server back. When she came back she brought me ā€œa plateā€. I ordered a chicken panini and instead I got a Shrimp wrap… My drink, which I ordered before the meal, was still nowhere to be found. I got it another 10 minutes later. So I ended up eating last when everybody else at the table was done. The lady apologized about ten times for the problems (there were other issues with some of the other meals at the table) but honestly, two out of two is no coincidence. Some of the folks at the table said this place is good for coffee and cake, like a late night snack where they do not need to do much. But for a real meal do yourself a favor and choose some other place.
I gave this place a 2-star just because the folks at the table did get their food and nobody said it was super bad… but make no mistake… Never again…
Enjoy the photo of my ā€œchicken paniniā€
Also, FYI parking is non existent. This place is on a strip mall, so it has very limited parking and you always have to wait for somebody to leave. It is amazing they have survived for as long as they have. The one good thing about them is that they are open late.

Another great ethnic option in beloit. Please support them. Weekends give you the best options as everything is hand made.

This is not ā€œfreshā€ review. I visited this place few months ago, but here I am now with review.
The friend who invited me to come here was their former employee, and told me all the best about this place. She was thrilled about the place, their food, atmosphere, service… literally everything. She also mentioned she is visiting them as a guest quite often.
The place as a place has a nice atmosphere (when I say it- it means it reminds me on my home country). Service was fast and good.
Food as food is nothing spectacular. One average greek gyro. It is definitely 3/5.
The portions are big, that is what I can say, but nothing else. I haven’t tried anything else besides that. I might visit them in the future to try something more, because I don’t like to write off the places based on one impression.
