The staff that came out from the park district were very friendly even after I found the 2 dogs that were in the park. Left alone, I called animal control and the police. They came out. They sure enough helped the 2 dogs. I sure hope they find the person that did this. But the 2 dogs were safe after a week. Get done. Our picnic was very well cleaned. Well, the police even came to check on us. Let us know that they were close to the park and gave us an extra half hour and forty-five minutes to get packed up and ready to go.

Excellent Park with clean nature trails for a hike. Enjoy sweeping views of South Elgin water dam and the stream of rivers flowing next to you. Totally an experience to spend a day by yourself, family or kids. There is ample amount of parking on all sides of this area. Enjoy

Very nice park! Walking paths, picnic areas and nicely landscaped. Also a splash pad area for kids. Overlooking the Fox river by the dam. Went to a cruise night there. Great turnout!

Beautiful park in an amazing city. It's unlike all of the surrounding towns! It outs Geneva and St Charles to shame. Beautiful trails and scenic river walk.

Nice park in downtown Elgin. Even in the winter, the river was beautiful, frozen, and the geese were plentiful. Lots of parking available.

Just went down for the "Back the Blue" car show the park is definitely way more user friendly had a great time 2nd annual show today even bigger and more events for family and kids come down next year always a great time
