O'Hare Inn and Suites - Schiller Park, Illinois
Dawn

Positive: Nothing Negative: The room was run down and everything seemed dirty because of the rundown conditions. The carpets were nasty and the overall look of the room was terrible. The air did not not work. Disinfectant they used in the sheets caused a reaction on my cheeks.

Positive: Location Negative: The heater in the room did not function. Stained bed sheets, leaking shower faucet all night. My experience was the worst. Feel the hotel website pictures are a scam.

2nd time staying there, tried to give benefit of doubt. The room were not clean the toilet continuously ran, the carpet was sticky and the hallway smelled like weed.
The 2nd time which is most current as of today ..1st floor diff area, room still not properly cleaned, dirt and half smoked cigfeeette behind the bedstand. I called customer service to get the Wifi and password since I didn't have the receipt with me, ALMA was rude but willing to assist , said she had a other customer on the phone. I will never stay there again, no matter what the cost. Don't do it you'll regret your stay

Its ok for an overnight or a few days. ||Just be aware the shuttle never seems to be in operation. I booked here, thinking I could save a little bit, by making use of the airport shuttle and public transport. I would have been better staying closer to the city. Shuttle doesn't operate. ||Cleanliness is average at best. It could do with a bit more cleaning. ||Breakfast is literally just cereal and coffee. Not even a choice of beverage, just coffee. |choice of cornflakes or cherios cereal. Thats it. It is breakfast I suppose, and was fine for me. But just a warning incase you are expecting an actual continental breakfast, I think that term is a bit overkill for what is actually offered. ||But this is a great spot for a few days. quiet staff nice, clean enough. |It was fine for me. just don't expect too much.

Absolutely disgusting room, heavily smoke smelling room, hair in bedding, toilet constantly running, stains in sink, burns in the counter top, couldn't belive the false advertisement on Booking. As a woman I felt unsafe there.
They don't respond to Booking messages about canceling. They haven't refunded me when I was in the room for a total of 5 minutes. Horrible place.

It was freezing in my room, heater wasn't working good and the front lobby receptionist didn't have access to laundry room so I couldn't get another blanket. Also the bedding had cigarette burns all over it. And the headboard for the bed was completely unattached to the wall so it was falling over onto our head multiple times. The breakfast had no coffee, no juice. Only things we could have were 2 different cereals, hot water and milk.

My overall rating is based on the many bad experiences we've had during our stay. However, I rated the staff a bit higher because they did at least try to fix the issue every time.

Our first issue was when we paid for our room and received our key the first night. They don't have a good system to tell what is paid apparently? As they called us and said we needed to pay immediately after we already paid for 7 nights. When we went to the front desk and showed where the money was deducted from our bank, they apologized and explained they got confused since it showed we would pay at the place (which we did a couple hours earlier). I'd recommend not paying in cash just in case, so you can pull up a statement record as other reviews online say the same thing.

Then the first 3 nights after the check in night, each night, our key card would deactivate. When we went to the front desk, they would fix the problem. The second night they reactivated the key card. The third night, they gave us a new one but never put how many nights were left. The fourth night they added in the total days left to be sure it wouldn't keep happening, and finally the issue was fixed for the rest of the stay. We almost booked somewhere else and cut our losses, but we worked with them since they were at least fixing the issues.

Our room cleaning rarely made the beds, only took out the trash when it was overflowing, but usually they did replace the towels and wash cloths.

The bed was hard as a brick and there was cigarette burns in the sheets. Some of the pillows had covers, some did not. And they were lumpy, as well. Plus, there was a light fixture that was broken. While you could turn on the light, the part the bulb sits in was falling off.

It isn't really close to anything. You can take the 330 bus to the Rosemont transit center for the Blue Line from O'Hare Airport, which is what we did to get around and to the place. They don't offer a shuttle or anything and usually recommend an Uber if you call. You have one convenient store with a Dunkin' and Subway inside for anything close by you can just walk to.

Great for a one night stay if you have no other options! And even then, great is stretching it.

Omg this place was soul crushing to stay in. When I tell you from the time you check in to the time you check out it is an absolute nightmare. Customer service is no where to be found in this place. Staff have terrible attitudes and are very dismissive. The rooms are so freaking old the last time they look like they were updated may have been the 60โ€™s. The cover stink and smell like funky saliva. The carpet is filled with cigarette smoke and years of dirt. The bathroom wall paper is chipping and falling apart. Heat doesnโ€™t work in some rooms and when telling staff they did nothing about it and refused to give an extra blanket.
