Was very excited to try the Easter Buffet but it didn’t live up to my expectations.

Pros: The staff was pleasant, atmosphere was nice. Nice cheese selection. Bakery items were good. Ranch dressing very tasty.

Cons: Most of the hot foods were dry and overcooked and not well seasoned to include eggs, potatoes, ham and prime rib. Disappointing.
Drinks were served in a plastic glass and coffee in a paper cup. Not a downside for many just my own personal dislike.

Cost for 3 adults and 2 children was just under $200.00 which included a 20% gratuity that was already added to the bill. This was a self serve buffet except for bar service.

Definite potential just fell short of my expectations.

We will admit we are HIGHLY disappointed in the Easter Buffet. We had high expectations from a catering company, but unfortunately this was the equivalent of a complementary hotel breakfast.

The breakfast potatoes were the same as hotel, the cheese omelets were the same as what you buy in the box at Walmart, the biscuits were hard and not fresh, the mac-n-cheese was velvetta out of the box, the prime rib was dry/overcooked, cooked days ago.

We had family come in for this from out of town, we spoke highly of this establishment and catering only to be let down - on top of it, it upset everyone stomach. This is not what we expected from this company.

Highly disappointing, especially for what we were charged.

My son went to work for Cory Poulos at Occasions By Cory and only made it five hours. He wasn't trained properly and was forced to wash the dishes there without detergent. He worked those five hours without a break and was berated for his poor washing skills since the dishes were not getting clean from lack of detergent. When he went to Mr. Poulos to have him sign his time card so that he could be paid for the hours that he worked, Mr. Poulos refused to sign it. He also noticed while back in the kitchen and dish washing area that there was mold growing all over the walls. I would highly recommend that you go to a different restaurant to eat as I fear that going here might cause you to get food poisoning!

They did an amazing job catering for the cancer survivors lunch 8/4/23. They always serve the most delicious food and the service is always amazing. You have a great team and I cannot wait to work with you again!

I was invited to a wedding here so I will review it in terms of being a guest. This location is beautiful, inside and out. It is set up perfectly for an intimate wedding or small gathering. They have a well stocked bar with some yummy cocktails. My favorite part was the toiletries bucket they had set up in the women's bathroom (see picture). This was such a nice gesture and so accommodating! I also loved this nook that the Bride and Groom had set up for the kids to play in. The staff were all incredible and super friendly. I enjoyed seeing the owner help out with everything.

We have done business with Occasions By Cory on numerous occasion - both personal and professional - and we are always beyond impressed! The staff is AMAZING, the food SUPERB, and the atmosphere is perfect for any occasion you may have...from a quick drink or bite with a friend, to a formal dining experience, Cory and his staff go out of their way to make sure your vision is brought to the table! We recently held my daughters bridal shower upstairs and, even with the simplicity that she wanted for the event, it was everything she had hoped for and more. I have worked with A LOT of venues in my professional career and this one is, HANDS DOWN THE BEST place and group of people to work with.

Held a Banquet to recognize Direct Support Professionals. Selection of Food was great. Only improvement would be make sure the food on the top of the serving containers is hot.

Easter Dinner reservations: Buffet, so serve yourself. 10 people, being seated on 2nd floor in the back farthest from elevator. We asked to move before we sat down, to the first floor because of disabilities, waitress rude and said we could use elevator, not even considering not only were stairs an issue, but that the distance was very long from front of each floor to back by elevator. Asked again as wife is double lung transplant with complications, never got to mention my mom with copd, or dad with heart issues, and again rude reply of there was an elevator that we could use. When we got a bill, we were charged 20 percent tip automatically with a line for additional tip, and all waitress did was one coke, one cup, and clear dishes from the table. After waitress decided that she could not understand how lung issues and breathing work especially since she done told us about the elevator twice, my wife had to stop several times to catch her breath getting to buffet line and back to table, just to eat overpriced mediocre food. If you are disabled/handicapped, don’t expect them to be understanding, but you definitely will be treated poorly for it. Also expect them to be rude too. Will never eat there again. Very bad experience for first time visit. Food was ok, but for price have definitely had better. I definitely have had better service/experience at McDonalds anywhere than at Cory’s today.
Forgot to mention that upstairs was old cigar smoking room, and still has that odor and definitely an aggravating factor for any copd or lung issues too. Proof is on my signed receipt with Cory’s mentioning ADA accommodations not limited to having an elevator. Receipt below with tip charged automatically.
