Wifi was nonexistent in the room and spotty everywhere in the resort. No in room refrigerator microwave, or did I mention Wifi ? Breakfast was minimal. Staff was good, and the golf course was in good shape and challenging.

We brought a group of 24 golfers to Oak Terrace for a three day Ryder Cup event and had a great time. The restaurant staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, but they were courteous and very accommodating. The golf course was in excellent shape and has a great layout. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our golfers had a great time.

My wife and I spent 4 days here. We had a great time. We stayed in on of the Villas, it was so nice. The rooms were spacious and well decorated, we enjoyed the hot tub that was on the private balcony overlooking the lake... we loved that! The golf course was in great condition and kept a good pace (we played 4 rounds). We also rented one of their pontoons and cruised around the lake and caught some fish too. The grounds were well kept. Everyone there was so nice, Michelle and Kelsie helped us with our schedule and answered ALL of our questions! The spa was closed due to covid and the restaurant had a limited menu but the food was good. All in all we had a great time and plan to go again!||||T. Frye

We came here for a weekend golf getaway. We stayed for one night at the inn and golfed both the day we arrived and the day we left. Our room was basic but very clean and comfortable with a view of the golf course. The big fluffy pillows were very nice. We ate dinner and breakfast at their bar/restaurant and the food was great and very reasonably priced. The golfing was awesome, we really enjoyed the course. Everything we needed was right there and so convenient. The staff here is fantastic; from the bartenders and waitresses to the young man in the pro shop, Everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to get us what we needed. We can't wait to come back!

We purchased a golf package for Oak Terrace at the Chicago Golf Show. What a great find and great value. The accommodations were very nice. Very clean. The breakfast buffet was terrific; sandwich bar for lunches outstanding; dinner equally good. Very nice prices on the wine list. We rented a pontoon boat. The lake is small but it was fun to putter around. The pool and hot tub were immaculate. The golf course was in great shape as well.

I've been going to Oak Terrace off and on for about 10 years with a group of guys for a golf weekend. I really think the hotel and golf course have gotten better over the years. I recently stayed in mid September and the hotel was very simple but nice. The golf course was in terrific shape, despite not having much rain lately. The rooms are clean, bathrooms are good sized and beds are comfortable. The only complaint was our room wouldn't get cool, but it wasn't a big deal, just my personal taste. They always take care of our group with a package deal which includes hotel, golf and free breakfast, free range balls and four rounds of golf. Several other groups were doing similar buddies golf trips too, but the course was rarely crowded. The hotel has a small bar/restaurant attached which was great as well. The restaurant will be reviewed separately.

Oak Terrace is perfect for family reunions, birthday gatherings, etc. The golf course is well kept for $55 a person. The rooms are clean and comfortable for $159 a night. They have group pricing for even less. The service is awesome! Everyone works hard to make you feel welcome and meet your needs. ||The food at Mulligans was delicious. The fitness center (inside the Resort Center bldg) was well appointed with cardio and weight equipment. There were also billiards and ping pong tables.||In addition, tennis court and indoor and outdoor pools make it fun during all kinds of weather. ||We will definitely be back!
