I cannot say enough about our stay at Northern Lights Resort & Spa. It certainly exceeded our expectations. Our glass chalet cabin was perfect. We looked out to snowy mountains, snow filled fields and evergreens laden with snow. The fireplace was a lovely touch along with the heated floors. The meals were amazing, the people that own and work there were so friendly and accommodating. I give this resort 5 plus stars out of 5. Both my husband and I highly recommend staying there. The dog sledding tour was also a great experience..

The Northern Lights Resort and Spa was absolutely amazing from the moment we arrived to the second we had to leave. The friendly, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable staff made each experience beyond wonderful. The cabin was incredible with large windows facing the beautiful views and of course the “front row” nightly view of the Northern Lights right from our bed! We were so fortunate to have our very first sighting of the lights with our “night at the campfire” guide Ulli. She was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, working with such joy to make sure each and every one of us had the most perfect experience. She made sure we had a continuous warm fire, hot chocolate, s’mores to cook and a blanket to warm us. All while she took pictures of us with the lights in the background and made sure to help us with anything we might want or need. James, our driver and tour guide was fantastic and full of interesting facts and stories. Patrick our host and server for most of our meals was excellent and so knowledgeable too. Chef James created the most delicious gourmet meals….each one better than the last. This once in a lifetime adventure was the perfect way to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary! We hope to go again.

Father and Daughter trip to see the Northern Lights in the 3rd week of October. We did see a little bit of the lights on our first night, and for the next 3 days, we didn't see any due to the cloud cover and snowing also. Where we disappointed, not so much.

We had daily activities that were awesome, and 1 of those experiences alone was unforgettable. We went and did the dog sled and got to sit in the dog sleds whilst be taking for a 6 mile trip. It's truly memorable. Visits to the nature animal reservation park, the hot springs, whitehorse town tour, and even our morning walks around the 140-acre property.

Lastly, none of the above matters, unless you have very good people interacting with the customers. The team at Northern Lights is just so wonderful and provides a level of service that is a reflection on the business and the wonderful staff they have on deck.

This is one of those experiences where you definitely pay for what you get and I would happily go back anytime, even though it was cold for both of us as Australians. We did take the Clothing Rental option and worth it because it gets so cold. We did see lows in the -16 Celsius just before sunrise.

The resort was absolutely charming. Clean, modern, and peaceful, our chalet had heated floors throughout and 5 different windows with a view of the property and night sky. The fireplace kept us warm without making the chalet stuffy, and the classic log cabin style fit right in with the terrain.||While they cannot guarantee the Northern Lights, the nightly bonfire was a great opportunity to meet other guests, play with light trail photos, make s'mores, and hear stories.||The sauna was private and a great way to relax after dog sledding. The masseuse was 15/10 incredible!!! The staff is from all over the world and being levity and professionalism with them everywhere they go. The team is attentive and thoughtful in their care of guests. The owners are clearly passionate about their work, and their staff seem to truly enjoy their jobs and their employers. If you want a break from hustle and bustle, to relax and be a peace with yourself or loved ones, I highly recommend this resort!

The entire experience was delightful despite the fact that the heavens didn’t cooperate as we’d hoped. The staff were very attentive to our every need and so friendly! Special thanks to Uli, Richard, Dorothy and Patrick!!! You all made our trip so special!! |The food was spectacular! From breakfast to dinner, it was impossible to leave the table hungry.|If you’re there when the snow is on the ground, don’t miss the opportunity to go dog sledding! It was the highlight of our trip. |I had such a wonderful time I hope to return in the summer and enjoy more pampering and enjoying all the Yukon has to offer.

While we chose Northern Lights Resort to get a glimpse of the Northern Lights, the fact that heavy cloud cover prevented a good view did not detract from the wonderful hospitality Toby and his staff delivered. We travelled to Whitehorse with good friends, and the cozy accommodations, delicious food and impeccable service made for a wonderful stay. Every one working there went above and beyond to make us feel special, constantly asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay even better. Since the chance of seeing the aurora was totally out of any one’s control, the fact that we so enjoyed our stay is a testament to how the Northern Lights Resort has mastered the art of hospitality. We are pescatarian and every meal provided an added option to suit our dietary restrictions. The dog sledding, fireside evening gathering, various tours and the sauna options were wonderful as well. The price is steep, but their success at providing a great experience in subzero temperatures won us over.

Our stay at Northern Lights Resort and Spa was nothing short of magical. We spent three unforgettable nights surrounded by breathtaking scenery and were lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights—an absolutely surreal experience. The cabins are not only beautiful but also impeccably clean, nestled deep in the woods, creating a truly idyllic setting. The food was delicious, and the staff made our stay exceptional. Definitely get a massage!! A special thanks to Dorothy, Patrick, and Ulli for their warmth and incredible service. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return!

I went to fulfill my dream of seeing the Northern Lights up close while also celebrating my birthday, and it was the best travel experience of my life. Not only because of the breathtaking northern lights, but also because of the extraordinary hospitality and attention provided by the entire staff at Northern Lights Resort & Spa. Lynn and Toby were spectacular hosts, the tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable and extremely friendly, the waiters were very attentive, the food was outstanding, the service was of the highest quality, the spa was completely relaxing, and the massage therapist had miracle hands. Everything was perfectly organized and prepared to ensure the best possible experience with the Northern Lights. 100% recommended!!!!
