We enjoyed the hotel. Staff pleasant and service oriented. Rooms met expectations for the price. On our next visit to the West Loop we likely will stay again . ||One seemingly small point but for a disciplined fitness person, I offer you a strong suggestion. While Your gym for a hotel is quite good, it needs another bench. The space will easily accommodate another bench. Then users don’t have to compete for the one bench in the space. The cost of one an additional bench is small but the value created for your guests is high. Please do not disregard this suggestion. ||Thank you

I booked Nobu Hotel Chicago for a client who has stayed at other Nobu properties. While she loved the hotel itself, she had some issues with the service. She called for an extra comforter and received a blanket a half hour later. She also asked for a bottle of sparkling water and was brought a bottle of still twice, with the manager finally coming up to correct the mistake. Overall, she had a lovely stay, but the attention to detail is what should set a 5 star hotel apart and it was lacking on this trip.

I took myself on a solo trip for my birthday, after a rough break up. Nobu hotel was the zen I needed. The moment I arrived, I was treated like I was long time friends with the staff. Gino and Emily especially made it memorable. Hendrick was incredibly kind as well. Gino and Emily arranged a special birthday treat for me with a genuinely sincere hand written note. Matthew the bartender was also a gem. Easy conversation and I asked him to order dinner for me, surprise me. He didn’t disappoint. I’ve stayed at other 5 star hotels and resorts and have come across curt staff, and honestly ever staff member seemed genuinely kind, like they actually enjoyed their jobs. I will be visiting again.

Very clean. Staff is very friendly and professional. We used the valet and Craig was very helpful. Loved the bar in the hotel. Great location in Fulton Market. Very walkable to many restaurants, bars and shops. Will definitely stay again when back in Chicago.

We were freezing by the time we reached the hotel, but we were warmly welcomed with hot towels and tea. Every time we returned, the front desk— I don’t know how they did it—made us feel as if we were coming home. It was the first time we had such an experience, despite all our travels.

Our room was spotless— the housekeeping team, you are amazing! Thank you for your attention to detail and impeccable cleanliness.

We had an extraordinary and relaxing time at Nobu Chicago. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted by incredibly warm and attentive staff. Shout out to Chautaun for an excellent check-in experience, as well as Gino for taking special care of me! I expected the staff to be reticent for such a fancy hotel, but was met with the perfect balance of warmth and friendliness.||I got a room upgrade with a wooden tub for my birthday (thank you!), and the rooms were a lot larger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. The bathrooms are sanctuaries, the pool and spa-like rooms on the bottom floor of the hotel were top notch as were all the toiletries - super cute wooden toothbrushes with fancy toothpaste, nice soaps and everything smelled great all the time. The Nobu rooftop restaurant, room service, and mini bar food + drinks were delicious! ||I don't usually treat myself to nice hotels when I travel, but now that I have experienced Nobu Chicago, I want a 5-star hotel like this everywhere I go.||Nobu is situated in a really hip neighborhood of Chicago while maintaining an intimate and private atmosphere when you're inside the hotel. Bottom line, I will be going back to this hotel when I stay in Chicago in the future. THANK YOU NOBU!

Unfair and Disappointing Experience

I’ve been a loyal customer, but today’s experience was truly disappointing. We moved our car out of the way to avoid blocking the street and help with the traffic flow. Instead of being appreciated, we were punished — made to wait over 30 minutes outside while three other clients who arrived after us were served first.

Where is the fairness in that? We tried to be considerate, and it cost us our time and patience. As a returning customer, I expected better treatment. This kind of service makes you feel like your loyalty means nothing.
